Taraji, Kerry and Viola Land People’s Choice Awards Nominations

VIOLA DAVIS 2015 PEOPLES CHOICE AWARDS NOMINATIONActresses Taraji P. Henson (Empire), Kerry Washington (Scandal) and Viola Davis (How to Get Away with Murder) have all landed nominations for this year’s People’s Choice Awards. Each is nominated for Favorite Dramatic TV Actress, and will be competing against Sara Ramirez (Grey’s Anatomy) and Ellen Pompeo (Grey’s Anatomy).

Each of their shows is also nominated in the Favorite Network TV Drama category, and will face off against Fox’s sophomore drama, Gotham.

Shonda Rhimes’ production company, Shondaland, scored ten nominations in total, and as you can see, totally dominated the dramatic television categories.

Other notable Brown Sistas to score nominations include Rihanna (Favorite Animated Movie Voice), Beyonce (Favorite Social Media Celebrity), Janet Jackson (Favorite R&B Artist), Nicki Minaj (Favorite Hip-Hop Artist) and Wendy Williams (Favorite Daytime TV Host).

The People’s Choice Awards will air live on television Wednesday, January 6th.

  2. I vote for Taraji… she’s so hot and sexy. Did y’all see EMPIRE last night? I loved that opening scene when Gabourey Sidibe was getting herself some. Hey, big hot mama’s need some lovin’ too!
