5 Must Do Spring Cleaning Tips!

I don’t know what your childhood was like but spring in my house always meant it was time for spring-cleaning boot camp. The windows would be splashed with ammonia, the bathrooms and kitchen would be bleached down, the carpets would be cleaned and finally we’d change over the heavy winter clothes for the lighter and brighter spring/summer collection.

As a grown-up, I’ve followed in my mothers path except I’ve added a slight twist.  Something about this weather and the sun makes me want to do an internal spring-cleaning and maybe you should too!

So here are five areas that you may need to dust over!

If your friendships are blooming like May flowers than good for you but if you’ve started looking around at a couple people and have questioned whether the friendship was healthy or not, it may be time to take a season away from each other.

You can’t choose your family but you also can’t let your family take you down.  If you’re normally rescuing someone or seemingly the only one with some sense, fall back a little and spend time with those who don’t raise your blood pressure.

Technically we’re still in a recession but that doesn’t mean because you have a job it should consume your life.  Leave work at work and why not consider what you might want to do next? You only get one life, go for it!

The SOS’s (Someone Specials)
Are you in a toxic relationship? Well, what better time to get out and explore the possibilities? If you’re in an amazing relationship, freshen up and add a little spice to it.

You are the most important person in your life because without you, you can’t have anyone else. Right?  So get rid of the heavy, dark and thick clothing you’ve been wearing and throw on something that makes you feel light on your feet.

Healthy relationships begin with the one that you have with yourself.  So clean out your heart, your soul and mind!

  1. Thanks for the good advice:)

I have something too add to the sektion “Yourself”.

Feeling god about yourself often starts with exercise. Go for a walk or go to the gym and you will feel much better.

  2. Love, Love, Love this article. I will make sure I do all of it. I keep telling myself that i am going to exercise or go for a walk or do my exercise video and always end up talking myself out of it, but I will take better care of myself. THanks again for this great article and keep up the great work.

  3. If women spent half as much time on their outside as they do on their inside the world would be a better place.
