Brandy Collaborates with Sam Smith
Brandy and British crooner Sam Smith have reportedly recorded new music together. The former Zoe Ever After star revealed the surprise collaboration during a recent interview with a South African news station. In advance of her upcoming tour in the country, The Vocal Bible shared several tidbits with the network, including the fact that the two performers have crossed musical paths before.
Brandy Joins ‘Star’ Cast
Brandy is returning to television for a multi-episodic arc on Fox’s music drama Star, the network announced Friday. The Wanna Be Down singer will reportedly play Charlotta Brown’s (Queen Latifah) younger sister, Cassie. Fox also announced the addition of Patti Labelle, who will be playing their mother, Christine. Episodes featuring the two music veterans are set to start airing next spring when the series returns from its extended winter hiatus.
Brandy Returning to ‘Chicago’
Let’s do it again. Brandy set to return to the Great White Way. Via published reports, the former Zoe Ever After star is set to reprise her role as Roxie Hart in the iconic stage play Chicago. Beginning August 16th, the multi-faceted diva will headline a total of seventeen performances at the legendary Ambassador Theatre.
New Music: ‘Patterns’ by Brandy
Via her Instagram page, R&B diva Brandy just blessed fans with a snippet of what is presumably new music she’s been working on for her upcoming album. With only the caption “#Patterns” accompanying the video, we’re going to assume that’s the title of the song- which is giving us all kinds of Angel in Disguise type vibes.
Brandy to Resprise Roxie Hart Role
With her BET comedy Zoe Ever After officially canceled and her stint on this season’s My Kitchen Rules about to come to an end, singer and actress Brandy is heading back to Broadway to reprise a familiar role. According to published reports, the Vocal Bible will once again take on the role of Roxie Hart in the Kennedy Center’s upcoming production of Chicago.
Ray J and Brandy Star in My Kitchen Rules
Brandy will be returning to television next month via the Fox cooking show My Kitchen Rules. The 37-year old former Zoe Ever After star will be joined by brother Ray-J, as well as fellow contestants Andrew Dice Clay, Naomi Judd, and Brandi Glanville.
