Actress Keke Palmer Grows Up

Actress Keke Palmer is covering the latest issue of RollingOut magazine, and just in time for October 21st premiere of CrazySexyCool, the TLC biopic she stars in alongside Drew Sidora and rapper Lil Mama.

Keke exudes classy sexiness on the cover which finds the young star showing a bit more skin than usual. Keke talked about her cover look via Instagram, saying she wasn’t looking to do a complete 180, but did want to show off her “softer sexier side.”

Aside from CrazySexyCool, fans can also look forward to seeing Keke in the upcoming films Animal with Jeremy Sumpter and Curdled, which co-stars fellow Brown Sistas Robinne Lee (Being Mary Jane, Hav Plenty) and Chenoa Maxwell (Hav Plenty, Girlfreinds).

TLC Biopic Gets Its First Trailer

The first trailer for VH1’s TLC biopic has finally been unveiled. Coming in at 2:08 minutes, the clip features lots of music and shows the depth the network went to recreate many of the group’s most iconic looks and videos.

‘CrazySexyCool,’ named after the 1994 album that catapulted the group into superstardom, stars Drew Sidora as Tionne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins, Lil Mama as Lisa ‘Left-Eye’ Lopes and Keke Palmer as Rozanda ‘Chili’ Thomas.

The tele-drama is set to air in October and will reportedly feature a soundtrack of unreleased music by the group, as well as a few new tunes featuring rapper Lil Mama.

TLC Bipoic Gets its Full Cast

VH1’s TLC biopic finally has its full cast. Joining Lil Mama, who will play Lisa ‘Left Eye’ Lopes, will be Drew Sidora, who will take on the role on Tinonne ‘T-Boz’ Watkins and former ‘True Jackson VP’ star Keke Palmer, who will tackle the role of Rozanda ‘Chilli’ Thomas.

Lil Mama’s casting as Left Eye turned heads last week, with quite a few people complaining about the decision. To save my life I can’t imagine why. Though I don’t know whether Lil Mama can act or not, I do know that she can rap her ass off, and that alone gets a big thumbs up from me.

As for Keke and Drew, they are actresses and more than capable of handling the roles of Chilli and T-Boz. The make or break for this film will be who is writing the screenplay and who will be directing, two things VH1 hasn’t disclosed yet.

Lets all Celebrate–The GAME IS coming BACK!

The Game… Season 4?

Derwin and MelanieI had just lost all hope for this sitcom, but the dreadful wait is over! It is definite The Game has been reportedly picked up by BET. It has also been reported that they have start filming episodes already!?

Check out what our girl Drew Sidora had to say S2S:

“The show is getting picked up, so for the people that have been petitioning and wondering, it is coming back to BET. So, hopefully, you will see me back,” Drew told S2S exclusively. “It is official. The deal has been done.”

“Right now, they’re just trying to figure out when it’s going to actually come back, as far as when we start filming the new episodes and things like that,” said Drew. “But BET has picked it up.”

“Everybody that petitioned–believe it or not–about the show getting cancelled, that is really what ultimately had BET even looking to pick it up,” she explained. “It was really dope. Everybody really loves the show and supports the show, so all I can say is keep watching.”

I have been  a fan of this show since day one and was upset when it was cancelled. This show has so much to unveil and the best has yet to come…

I am so ready..How about you?

The Soul Train Awards

The Soul Train Awards were taped last night in Pasadena, California and the big winners of the evening, including Beyonce Knowles, Jamie Foxx, Mary J. Blige, and John Legend were all no shows.Even Janet Jackson, who did show up to support her S/O did not walk the red carpet or sit in the audience during the taping of the show.Instead Janet was photographed in the back dressed like she was on her way to do her laundry.I remember not so long ago when Soul Train was the only musical awards show for our people but over time I guess that has changed and apparently Black music’s elite have chosen to turn their backs on the show and instead show up in droves to support the corporate owned BET Awards. TSK! TSK!
