New Music: ‘Driving Me’ by Serayah McNeill
Actress Serayah McNeill has released her first official single. The 22-year old Empire star took to social media at midnight to share Driving Me, a Rihanna-esque sounding track that features production from Atlanta-based rapper/producer Jazze Pha.
Serayah McNeill Coming Into Her Own
Despite her ever diminishing screen time on Empire, actress Serayah McNeill seems to still be benefiting from the show’s success. She’s recently been signed to Sony Entertainment and has finally gotten around to putting the finishing touches on her first solo album, reportedly set to be released this coming fall.
Over the weekend Serayah McNeill lent her celebrity to the grand opening of Sephora’s Powell Street store in San Francisco. The twenty-year-old Empire actress was joined by company CEO Calvin McDonald, and hordes of fans who lined up hours in advance for the opportunity to meet the burgeoning superstar.
Serayah called herself a longtime fan of the cosmetics super-store, saying she always feels better about life after a day of beauty shopping. “Call me silly,” she told fans via Twitter, “but I always feel super inspired after I leave Sephora.”
While her screen time on this season of Empire may have been dramatically slashed, singer-actress Serayah McNeill doesn’t seem to be sweating the snub, as it has apparently given her more time to work on her debut album.
The 19-year old California native has been in the studio since early summer working on new songs, some of which she has uploaded to her official Sound Cloud page, Serayah Love.
‘Anything You Want’ Video by Sevyn Streeter

Featuring Jeremih and rappers Ty Dolla $ign and Wiz Kalifa, the track finds Sevyn singing about your standard R&B subjects: partying and having a good time.
