Ananda Lewis Returns To Television

Ananda Lewis Former MTV VJ Ananda Lewis has been signed by the TV Guide Network to host their new reality show, America’s Next Producer. David Hill and Matt Roush have also joined the series and will be part of a three panel judging committee that will feature a different guest celebrity judge every week. As you all know Ananda has an extensive background is television and radio and hosted shows on both BET and MTV. Ananda also hosted her own short lived talk show and co-hosted the John Salley Block Party radio show on 100.3FM The Beat in Los Angeles. America’s Next Producer will give up and coming producers the chance to prove they have what it takes to create a hit television show. Contestants will compete each week to survive elimination and the last man, or woman standing will receive a cash prize of $100,00, a production office, along with a first-look deal with the TV Guide Network.

  1. Ananda Lewis had the personality of a rock. She got her work in the business not because she was a great journalist or host or whatever but because she was attractive. BET and MTV are nothing to be proud of. Guys and girls need only be pretty and look cute.Note how after their time with MTV passes their careers stall. MTV’s best VJs were the folks from the 80’s like Downtown Julie Brown. Ananda was and is no Julie Brown :thumbsdown:

  2. This show does not sound like it is going to be a hit plus it’s on cable and a channel I didn’t even know existed.I’m glad to hear Ananda has had a job all these years though because I thought she had just fallen off the face of the earth.
