Angell Conwell Wants To Sing
Actress, model and all around “It” girl, Angell Conwell is looking to try her hand at music and has already entered the studio and begun laying down tracks.As you all know, Angell first came on the scene decked out in baseball shorts and stilettos for Nelly’s “Batter Up” video.Since then Angell has starred in numerous videos, television shows and movies.Obviously not content having conquered these world, Angell is now ready to take on the likes of Beyonce and Rihanna for chart supremacy.
Angell entered the studio last year and has been laying down tracks for her first solo album and suprisingly the sista has a very beautiful voice.Angell’s PR firm sent a camera to document the shooting of her 2006 calendar but also has footage of her singing in the studio.You can check it out on You Tube and don’t forget to click over and participate in our poll of the day.

She will never be taken seriously.She has been in booty videos and the worst ghetto trash movies ever.She has cursed her acting career and killed any chance she stood be taken seriously in the music game.I have seen her in Moesha and That’s So Raven which were cool roles but everything else she has done has been just awful.I can see her getting a record deal cause anyone can these days but getting major play and promotion just ain’t gonna happen.

She is a very beautiful woman, unfortunately as Dana said, I don’t think she will be taken seriously as a singer. I’m sorry. I think people will definately watch her videos (men especially). she may just be on the airwaves a lot but not selling much :oops:

I watched the clip and she does have a pretty voice- very soulful and laid back.I wish her luck but it is difficult to cross over into music when you are an actor and not a very well known actor at that.Jennifer Lopez got major promotion as did Jamie Fox but who really knows Angel? She’s a small time video model and actress who prolly doesn’t have a very strong following of people who like her for anything more than her looks.I doubt she’ll make it but as I said I wish her luck.

I have enjoyed her work in shows like That’s So Raven and Moesha.She always plays very preppy type characters in her television roles and very sexy characters in her movie roles.I have not enjoyed her acting in movies like Soul Plane and Baby Boy because I think she was only window dressing in those films.First she was a video girl and then an actress and now she is moving on to singing and I say why not.She’s done everything else and achieved moderate success so I don’t see why she can’t give singing a shot as well.

If she could sing I would rock with her, but she can’t be one of these girls that can’t sing up there pretending she can like Cassie and RHianna. I’m tired of that. If you would shown me a pics of India I would have said no but the chic can sing and blew me away so now I’m a fan. Talent is talent to me no matter what you look like.
