Though obviously not nominated, Apple Music was by far one of the biggest winners at last night’s 67th Annual Emmy Awards.
The world’s largest music purveyors weren’t on hand, but still managed to steal a good portion of the show’s glory with a commercial that featured two nominees and the Queen of Hip-Hop Soul.
The one-minute clip features Emmy nominees Taraji P. Henson (Empire) and Kerry Washington (Scandal) hanging out at Mary J. Blige’s place, while listening to old school music, via Apple’s recently launched streaming service Apple Music.
According to commercial director Ava DuVernay, last night’s commercial is the first of three starring Taraji, Kerry and Mary. The next two will reportedly be unveiled by Apple later this week.
In the meantime, check out the ladies below having a little fun at their mixtape party.
