Ashanti was in New York City today to light up the Empire State Building in honor of the 70th Anniversary of The Wizard Of Oz. As you all may remember, Ashanti appeared as Dorothy over the summer in the Broadway revival of the show. In honor of the auspicious occasion the singer also released her version of “Somewhere Over The Rainbow” on Itunes earlier this week.
