Ashanti Previews ‘I Got It’ Video

It’s a new year and according to Ashanti, she has big plans for her serially delayed “Braveheart” album. Not only will the project eventually get a new name, but will also feature all new singles, beginning with the latest Rick Ross assisted track “I Got It.”

We got our first taste of the single last year when Ashanti unveiled the cover; and now we’re getting our first taste of the video, which Ashanti made available for preview earlier today via Instagram.

The 15-second clip features Ross sitting on a throne… naturally, and Ashanti shaking a tail feather with a few back-up dancers.

The Eif Rivera directed visual is expected to be unveiled in its entirety next week. As for “Braveheart,” or whatever it will eventually be renamed to, expect that sometime later this year… hopefully.

  1. I am super excited for Ashanti to drop a new video. She is hella dope.

  2. Definitely grabs your attention. Very interested in hearing/viewing the rest! So happy that Ashanti continues to strive to release this album. I believe in the end it will all be worth the wait and I fully plan on buying it just to show my support to how proud I am of her that she hasn’t given up.

  3. okay I just said I would support Ashanti BUT… I don’t like this song and I don’t it represents Ashanti very well. She is a cool dope chic not a sex kitten. There are a few women out there who are sexy w/o trying. Aaliyah was one, A Keys, T-Boz, and Ashanti
