Tamar Braxton Signs to eOne Music
Singer Tamar Braxton has left Epic Records. According to Billboard, Tamar, 40, has signed a new deal with eOne Music to release her upcoming fifth solo album. Tamar’s previous three albums: Calling All Lovers, Winter Loversland and Love and War were all released in conjunction with Streamline Records, a boutique label distributed by Interscope and owned in part by Tamar’s husband Vincent Herbert.

Nia Long is returning to television. Just one season after her ABC comedy Uncle Buck was canceled, Nia has decided to rejoin the network- agreeing to co-star in the upcoming spinoff of their hit series The Goldbergs. The 90’s-set dramedy will feature the 45-year old actress as a widowed mother of three who enrolls her children in a school led by an eccentric and quirky cast of characters.

After dropping hints for several weeks on her social media pages, British model Jourdan Dunn has finally unveiled her highly anticipated streetwear line, appropriately named LONDUNN. While I am sure Gabrielle Union’s new Flawless haircare line has been a huge success since its launch last week, it has not come without a bit of controversy for its creator. Since unveiling the collection via Instagram, Gabrielle has been inundated with complaints from people who think she’s simply trying to make a quick buck from the booming natural hair movement- while not actually wearing her natural hair. Gabby has also been taken to task for her vague use of the phrase “textured hair,” as well as the models she chose to use in the company’s advertisements.
Tamar Braxton Signs to Pantheon Talent Agency
Tamar Braxton is looking to spread her wings. Via published reports, The Braxton Family Values star recently agreed to be repped by Pantheon, a talent agency that has divisions in theatrical, literary, commercial and print advertising. After being unceremoniously dropped as co-host of The Real last year, Tamar recently spoke to Billboard about diversifying her brand as an artist. In addition to debuting her own talk show this year, Tamar says she’s also planning on writing a book, expanding her clothing line and branching out into acting like big sister Toni.
