Azealia Banks’ Luxurious New Video

I’m not a particular fan of this generartion’s crop of female rap performers but I can stomach Azealia Banks a lot more than I can Nicki Minaj, whose “nappy headed hoe” lyrics have completely turned me off.

Though no stranger to four letter words herself, Azealis Banks at least has a conscience and because of that I don’t mind showcasing her here on Brown Sista.

Here she is below debuting her most recent creation, the visuals for her “Luxury” single.

  1. I really can’t take her. I’d really like to know what the heck she is saying though. New music makes me sad. So I can’t sit here and say I wanna give her a chance. I remember I was flipping through channels one night and saw her video for “212” on and she was speaking so fast I couldn’t understand. I looked it up and the words were…. (O_o). Chick is past vulgar and I’m sure, for no reason. Where is said consciousness @Sista?

  2. LOL @ Pray For The Children
I can’t get into this girl in any way shape or form. Her attitude turned me off and I never understand what she’s saying. This video reminds me of the 90’s though… so does the beat. =/

  3. Here’s what I’m hoping: this new generation of music is just a fad (think disco and 80s pop) that will soon fade away. Hopefully, we can adn will return to real music, real rhythm and blues. This crap “musicians” put out today has no longetivityl. No one will be listening years from now. If they’d stop creating songs for shock-value or to nsound “different” maybe they’d put out some good music.

  4. Please bring back Queen Latifah, MC Lyte, Yo Yo, Lil Kim, and Foxy Brown..thanks..
