I have had these pics of Ashanti for some time now but they were low quality and tagged by some other site.Finally I came across the high quality version of them and decided to share them here with you guys.I particularly love this shoot because it is so totally different than what is generally done today with female artists.Ashanti is totally dressed and her surroundings actually play a part in the overall theme of shoot.Hope you all enjoy these pics as much as I did and the entire shoot can be seen in Ashanti’s gallery on BrownSista.net.

I agree.The shoot is lovely and a lot of time and attention obviously went into putting this shoot together.Generally with women they give’s some panties and bra and have’em bend over.This is truly a classy shoot.
For some reason this shoot reminds me of Phanton Of The Opera.
She looks pretty and she and Nelly just need to make it official and get married already.They make such a cute couple :)
Ashanti looks GORGEOUS! I am glad she is changing up her style. While I liked her with long hair before, now everyone has done it. We dont need 100 pounds of weave and a mini skirt to look gorgeous. And we dont need to look like blow-up cupie 1950′s pinup dolls either. She should keep this look throughout the promos for her next album. Truly different. Truly gorgeous. Do it girl. We’ll support you.
It looks like she is shooting a video. My favorite pic is the one when she is getting out of the car. The close up of her in front of the chandelier looks bad (the weave). Other wise I like the new look:smile:
I love this photo shoot. It is dark and mysterious as I feel Ashanti is, a mystery. We know very little about her other than her music.I love it. This shoot does let us see that Ashanti has grown up. I also agree, I would love to see her and Nelly wed.
I love Ashanti and it is most definately diffrent which is great to see but I don’t like it. Sorry blog folks but I’m not hating on her because ya know if she was rocking a paper bag it don’t matter the girl can write a woman athem and if she was rocking a plastic bag, I’m getting the album because I know sh’e gonna show her tail on this album and show she’s still the princess, lol. so maybe i should say…i have to get used to it if thats gonna be her new look or it’s just a picture i don’t like but what’s a picture? nothing.
I don’t think you are hating Loveher.I first saw these pics a forum a few months back and most people thought they were too dark and drap looking also.Not liking something or someone sure doesn’t make you hater.We can’t all agree on everything. :thumbsup:
Also, the photoshoot featured alot of different music artist such as Nick Cannon, etc. Vibe did the same many years ago.

I don’t like these pictures at all, especially the second one. She doesn’t pull this look off. The make up is too heavy and the hair is a mess. I’ve seen much better looking pictures of Ashanti. I don’t understand how these pictures look so different when many artists – male and female have take throwback pictures like this before. It’s VERY commmon. And Ashanti has her share of picture half naked so don’t exclude her from that list. This photoshoot featured many other music artist as well. As someone pointed out it was the theme of the feature. I like what they were going for but it didn’t come out right.
