Beyonce Covers The Latest Issue Of US Weekly
Beyoncé and Jay-Z ordered 75 boxes of white-and-cream-colored orchids for their April 4 nuptials at the rapper’s downtown Manhattan apartment, florist Amy Vongpitaka tells Usmagazine.com. “It made the apartment like a heaven, like a palace,” says Vongpitaka, owner of NYC’s Amy’s Orchids. “You walked in, and it was all flowers — everything white and creamy.” In the new issue, Us Weekly reports on the singer’s two dresses, what their first dance song was, the celebrity guests and just how tall the wedding cake was (hint: 5-foot-8!). Vongpitaka says she only had “one week’s notice” that they were tying the knot and that the 750 pounds of flowers arrived three days before they said “I Do!” in front of Kelly Rowland, Michelle Williams and Beyoncé’s sister, Solange. The couple also ordered many foot-long garlands to drape around the $8 million, 9,000-square-foot apartment. “Beyonce requested the specific look of the bloom,” Vongpitaka says. Nobody likes to speculate for too long. Even her fans are getting irritated with her (and Jay). It’s one thing to be “private and secretive” about your life, but to intentionally have people thinking one thing about you when it’s actually another is a poor image to have. If you are married, you don’t have to verbally say it to the world, but at the same time don’t expect for people to continue supporting your career and you are lying about who you REALLY are. That’s why I love my Erykah Badus, Jill Scotts, and many other female artist because when they tell their stories about things they’ve experience in life (good/bad); it’s like their reaching out to their fans for support and their fans reach back. It’s not always a fans goal to past judgement, criticize, or attack these artists [beyonce] for what they’ve been through, but to learn from them and support them because we LOVE them. I love wedding stuff (I just received an issue of bridal guide in the mail that I didn’t ask for but will gladly take), and I’m tempted to pick this up just to know about the wedding. I just wish she would take a page from Christina, and even Janet, and just say “Yes, we’re together. Yes, I’m proud of that. @ Nesh Nesh, I love JIll and Erykah too, but when have you ever seen either one of them on the cover of Us Weekly? Never, and you won’t because Beyonce is on another level of celebrity. They can afford to be more open with their fans because frankly, they have fewer ones. The only people who pay any attention to their carrers are their actual fans. The same cannot be said for Beyonce or any other “A-list” celebrity. The mainstream media follows everything they do, not just the fans. So, it is wise not to reveal to much, because when you do, you are revealing it to the whole world, not just your fan base.

They interact with the most elite of the elite, they’re always in front of the d@mn camera (at least Beyonce is), they have major endorsements taking place with just about every company there is out there. I truly don’t care if they don’t EVER tell the public if they’re married or not. But because they are “media whores” and their names stay out there in the public eye, I/people can’t help but to comment. And as far as Jill Scott, E. Badu, etc never being on the cover of US Weekly doesn’t make them any less of an artist (or person) then Beyonce - A - Z list, doesn’t matter. It just shows who’s more hungry for the spotlight if you ask me. So, Bea and Jay asked for this.
But they ALL are great artists, it just some keeps it real more than others.

I think we should just leave them alone. If they want to keep things private let them be, if they don’t want to acknowledge whether they are married or not, so be it. People should stop trippin’ over things they cannot control. Whether or not they confirm the rumors will not have any effect on any of our lives. I just feel bad that every time her band mates or sister comes up with an album or single, she dominates the entertainment news, leaving minimal exposure for the other to promote their material. Since her father is their manager, he should have pushed up the album dates knowing that Beyonce is a news black hole that can suck the publicity out of anyone’s spotlight and put the album out maybe two week after the wedding. I also think is very childish that Beyonce does not come out to her fans and say I’m married. Marriage, especially in the black community does not happen often enough which to help build stronger families. It should be with pride that she comes out, love is a beautiful thing to promote. She would find that if she or Jay would make a brief statement on their website, that the media frenzy they are trying to avoid would die down, unless they really like it and just faking it. They don’t have to flaunt thier love, just acknowledge it. As talented as they are, as a fan of their music and performance, it is disappointing to see them play all these games.

Beyonce loves being the center of attention. Right now, she has no albums out, her videos are played out and her two upcoming movies will be duds. Most woman don’t announce their pregnancy until they are past three months because that is the most crucial part of your pregnancy. That is normal. J-Lo was smart. The fact that she had a hard time getting pregnant and to finally get pregnant with twins in her late 30’s made it even more crucial.

This has been tooooo funny to me about how serious people are taking this. It reminds me of how when I was in high school, everybody wanted to know who the attractive and popular(usually a cheerleader or athlete) girl or guy was dating. Beyoncé happily flashed a whopping hunk of diamond on her left-hand ring finger Tuesday night at her new husband’s concert with Mary J. Blige at Atlanta’s Phillips Arena.
Wearing a short black dress and big hoop earrings, the newlywed singer sat in a VIP area with buddy Usher. The two leapt to their feet to groove hard when Jay-Z launched into his hit “PSA,” with its lyrics, “I got the hottest chick in the game wearing my chain.”
Usher threw up the diamond Roc sign, while Beyoncé showed off a telltale diamond rock of her own and waved her arms to the beat.
During the show, Beyoncé also relaxed backstage on a plush red couch, sporting shades and singing along to Blige’s songs as Jay-Z made last-minute costume changes.
On Monday night, Jay-Z celebrated without his wife – or a wedding ring – at his 40/40 club in Manhattan, where he cheered during the NCAA men’s basketball championship game with friends including rapper Tru Life.
An unlit cigar dangling from his hand, Jay-Z was in a good mood as he coyly evaded wedding questions. “I don’t know what you’re talking about!” he said with a laugh when congratulated by patrons.

I believe that everyone deserve some me time. Everyone deserve to have something private that is just between them and that special person. You know that they got married so why do they need to announce it. Now hiding the rings and all of that is just plain old silly, but, I don’t think they have to announce they got married. Honestly about Jay and B, I think it’s about time to grow up and admit it all because that’s a part of the business. What is left to hide or deny, or be ashamed of. Admitting your love doesn’t require disclose personal information and positions, but say ok “we understand the fans and gossip columnists want to know, so yes, we’re married” and I bet the hype will instantly die down.
