In fact, this is what I'd say to her if I met her: Keep your head up, sis. Try everything you wanna try and do everything you wanna do. Don't put limits on yourself based on other people's opinions of you. If you let somebody influence how you feel about you, you will regret it. Enjoy your success. Live your life to the fullest, baby girl, because once youth/life is gone, it is GONE. Do your thing, girl, whatever that is. Don't let nobody hold you down or hold you back. Don't let anybody hang labels on you that you didn't give yourself. Whatever you do, don't give up, girlfriend, and don't let the haters get to you. Explore and experiment to your heart's content. If you mess up, try again, and keep trying until you are satisfied that you have done the best you can do. Then, let it go, and move on to the next thing. Don't spend too much time worrying about stuff you can't do anything about. That's a waste of time, and time is the one thing that you really can't afford to waste. When people say hateful things about you--and you can be sure they will as long as you have something they don't--just remember that a lot of them would give their right arm to be in your pumps.
