Beyonce “Im Just A Boy” Confirmed As First Single (Update)
As many of you well know, Beyonce is hard at work on third solo CD, which has a tentative release date of around November 2008. Rumors spread throughout the net a few weeks ago that the new album title was Virtuoso Intellect, but now even more reliable information about the first single and the video for that first single, has spread throughout the net as well. Recently posted information concerning the casting for a new Beyonce video shows the title of the song to be ‘I’m Just A Boy” with the video shoot scheduled to start on September 11th and wrap up on the 14th. Jake Nava, who helmed Beyonce’s “Beautiful Liar” video with Shakira, has also been tapped to direct this video as well and based on the posted information below, it may have a “Ring The Alarm” type of theme to it.
UPDATE
Billboard magazine has cleared up a few things about Beyonce’s upcoming single. The song is actually titled “If I Were A Boy” and is due to hit the airwaves in October. Another track, Single Ladies, is also due to be released at the same time. So we will have two Beyonce songs instead of one leading off the new album, which according to Billboard will be released on November 18th.

WEll i’ve seen pictures of her real hair and there is no way the straight blond is her i’m sure she has great her since her mother made sure we all registered that her daugthers and her are creole but if the blond hair was hers i think she would have bottled and sold whatever she used to grow her hair :)
Either way i know beyonce is going to sell a million the first week so it does not matter if the tittle of her song make sens or not :)

Actually, Etta James was in the audience on the front row. According to the reviews she rock the house with the rendition and received a standing ovation. There are clips on youtube, but the show will air tomorrow night.

Beyonce, Alicia Keys, Mary J Blige, and Mariah Carey are going to be considered the legends of this generation. Hate on Beyonce if you want, but she has something that no other female artist has. That’s having everyone talking. Even on the other post full of several women, everybody was talking about Beyonce. She is already an icon, years and years from now she will definitely be a legend if she keeps at it. Best of luck to her. People can say what they want but she gets more and more successful every day.

Icon - please. She is not a pioneer or an originator. There is nothing revolutionary about her music nor is she a groundbreaking artist. Beyonce has reached her peak, but also she is full of herself and delusional in thinking that doing what she does is iconic. She is all looks and no brains. Maybe she should take her millions and invest in a decent education. Every time she opens her mouth, she needs to stick her foot in it.

@Dark sista you go girl. I am out in the communities getting people ready to vote. Alot of people are under the impression that if you have a felony you can’t register to vote but that is not true. You have to find out what the requirements are. But even if you have a felony just go and register what’s the worst can happen they are not checking that go register and then the most important thing is to get up on November 4m 2008 and make history.
