Poor Beyonce just can’t seem to catch a break these days.Forced to answer accusations that her new single ((Ring The Alarm)) is a direct response to Rihanna and rumors that she is too close to Jay-Z, Beyonce sent off a letter to Vibe.com explaining just why “Ring The Alarm” was chosen as the next single.Funny thing is, Beyonce never mentions the relationship between Jay and Rihanna, which is what the original Vibe article was all about.

“I want to personally respond to the report on Vibe.com about my next single, ‘Ring The Alarm.’ I am very proud of this song and I believe the video is one of the best I have ever done. I am excited about its premiere on Yahoo today, Wed, Aug 16th. It’s energetic, aggressive and filled with hard beats and I can’t wait for my fans to see it. I always believed this would be a powerful song.
“My thoughts about releasing ‘Green Light’ and ‘Get Me Bodied’ was to go first to the international market, but the vibrancy of ‘Ring The Alarm’ is something I wanted the whole world to see and hear right now. ‘Green Light’ and ‘Get Me Bodied’ are definite single contenders, but right now it’s all about ‘Ring The Alarm.’”
For the first time in I don’t know how many years, a lone Black female artist is basically the face of the music scene her in America and for that reason alone, she has is dealing will all this new backlash.This generation has no Madonna (Britney is knocked-up again) and all other White female singers are peons compared to Beyonce.Right now the Black girls are ruling everything and some people just cannot stand that, including our own who seek to pit them against each other, hence the Rihanna rumors and the Janet vs. Beyonce polls that can be seen on damn near every website.Beyonce is the new IT girl and people just need to fall back and let her live.She is a marvelous example for all young Black girls to follow.
She should not have responded at all.By responding the way she did she keeps this silly rumor going.She also sounds desperate is you ask me.She ie feeling the pressure right now and is obviously reading all the crap written about her.Doesn’t she know better than to read negative comments by “haters”?
Both her songs are good and if you ask me people are just doing what people do when someone becomes big- they hate.We love to bring people up and then tear them down.Beyonce is just dealing with the growing pains of being a new celebrity.She should not answer her critics at al but rather just focus on her music and career.Dreamgirls is going to bring her the respect she deserves.
I don’t think it’s hating on Beyonce I think people are disappointed b/c both of those songs sound a mess and that’s not hating thats just my opinion! I loved Crazy In Love and I’m not looking for her to sound just like it but for her second album for her to be such a big start her songs and videos are horrible! I know Dreamgirls will be good. But she is not a strong vocalist like Jennifer Hudson! Beyonce is soulless and that’s not her fans fault that’s just how it is! Overrated! And we can’t put it all on Beyonce there’s no real talent out right now. There isn’t one person besides Fantasia, Anthony Hamilton and maybe a few others that aren’t as popluar as Beyonce that I will actually listen to 10 or 20 years from now. I won’t want to hear “Ring The Alarm” or “Deja-Vu” or “Dangerously in Love” for that matter it all sounds kiddie! She should’ve taken her time on this album b/c it ain’t hate it’s people not digging her more than before the fans don’t lie they go by what they expect to hear and see and when they don’t get it they fall off hard!
I have to agree with Lady! Nobody is hating on Beyonce,her music lately is GARBAGE! Fantasia’s album was hot last year and I was pissed off when she did not get at least one Grammy for it.People need to stop going for looks!

Don’t hold your breath waiting for that to happen Nic.If Cassie has shown us anything it is that the music scene right now is completely driven by looks.If you have the right color (very little) and the right hair texture (straight), some Black man somewhere (Puffy), will give you a record deal and the public will eat it up.
im not hating on beyonce, but remember her father did not have anything to do with this project, and you better beleive that dad matthew oversaw every aspect of the beyonce and density child sucess; he picked what was going on the cd and so on. Now you see the difference. SHe is nto without talent, but not worth of all those grammnys when she can almost match whitney and has more grammnys than marraih, see dad matthew pimped the game. she better keep dad around, she no janet who was able to fire dad and have a great carrer, she no where near that level, but she is a pretty girl. overated, but pretty, and selling sex by the dozen, every outfit is at high thigh level and what about the boddy hop.. Shes not bad, but no where the top divas, she has time to grow, i wish they stop puttign her on that level.
She did the right thing, avoided the whole question. She doesn’t have to explain herself to anybody. Why even get caught up in the media hype? She’s been in this game for a long time and has been scrutinized for everything she does since day one. Can she live? I wish people would just let this girl do her. She crushin these r&b chicks right now and everybody has their time. Last year it was Mariah and her vocal skills have actually declined (live performances horrible!) Beyonce is an excellent singer and performer, she shuts it down everytime. Hate it or Love it the girl is on top.
Well i think B has did a great job on this cd. Reason being its nothing that well all expected. It dont have many Balads and not alot of beyonce dance beats. However True Fans would have heard her when she said this cd was completly inspire by Dream Girls the movie. She went Straight to the studio on some days and recorded what she thought her charater in the movie should have said. She also said that she did this all herself and she paid for every bit out of her own pocket. Just so she would have the influces on what people should think she should be writing about. In fact Noone knew she was in the studio until cd was already recorded But J of course. So being that said I like it and I like it alot. She was just on the radio station in Chicago WGCI and said their is no truth to Rhianna and Jay being to gether what so ever. And this song Ring the alarm has no truth what So ever about her or J. It was inspired by the movie. Get it together people. :hater:
