Bobbi Brown Fights Breast Cancer

bobbi5As you may or may not know October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. I support this month not because I admire the color pink ,but because it supports a beneficial cause. Breast cancer is the second most prevelant cancer worldwide and is the most common cause of cancer-related deaths among women (particuarly brown sistas). This time of year their are numerous non-profit organizations that help to benefit Breast Cancer awareness month. The relay for life and the Breast Cancer 3 Day fundraisers raise significant amounts of money at which majority of the profits are donated to Breast Cancer research and support organizations. In 2005 not only did my family and I suffer tremendously as a result of Hurricane Katrina my Grandmother was diagnosed with breast cancer. This was one of the hardest tribulations my family and I ever went through. By the grace of God the doctor was able to remove the cancerous fraction. Bobbi Brown Cosmetics is joining the fight against breast cancer. The Limited-Edition Pink Ribbon collection features Blush Pink Creamy Lip Color and Pink Crystal Glitter Lip Balm. The collection was a vanity fair pick for “Hot looks benefiting the cure.” The collection is $40 and with your purchase you are contributing to Bobbi Brown’s donation of $35,000 to the Breast Cancer Research Foundation. Every order will include a pink ribbion to wear and make others aware of the dangers of breast cancer. I will defenitely purchase the Pink Ribbion Collection during my consultation visit with Bobbi Brown Cosmetics this weekend. Remember to visit the doctor regularly for screenings, and be sure to support Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
