Brandy & Daughter Appear In Skechers Ad
R n’ B singer Brandy and her six year old daughter Sy’rai are the newest faces of Skecher’s “Nothing Compares To Family” campaign. The campaign, which is slated to run through 2009, will support Brandy’s own “Norwood Foundation”, which provides educational grants and cultural enrichment to at risk youth, as well as several other celebrity foundations, including those run by Tori Spelling and singer Alicia Keys. Brandy, who is still in the studio working on her fifth studio album, is said to be in the final stages of recording and hopes to have the cd out by the first quarter of 2009.
In related Brandy news, what is said to be a new promotional shot of the singer hit the net earlier this week. Nothing spectacular, but it’s nice to know her camp is thinking about her fans. I look forward to the singers new album as I believe Brandy needs Rodney Jerkins (they are working together on her new cd) like Janet needs Jimmy Jam and Terry Lewis.

@ ni ni, i wasnt being slick but straight up. The placement of her hair over her shoulder makes her head appear as if its floating disproportunate from her body. Its a composition thing and someone should have fixed it but as I said before its still a cute pic in spite of its offness.

I must jump on the band wagon and say her daughter does look just like her father. Brandy looks good but I wish she’d gain some weight back. I don’t like what her daughters father did by putting brandy on blast that they were never married. He just did that b/c at that time he had an artist that he was trying to promote! May I add… “we” meaning females always find something wrong with everything.. again “as if any one of us are made perfect”! The main post was about Brandy and her daughter… people always have something to say, her make up looks bad, her hair is messed up, her shoes are ugly.. its just always something.. my grandmother always said “if you have nothing nice to say then dont say nothing at all”..

brandy is one of my favourite artists. i don’t own “afrodisiac” and haven’t heard all the songs on the album but i did see the video for the title song……whoa brandy with ya sexy dex! lol
i hope her new album is great and i hope she does get back with rodney jerkins. he’s a cool producer.
and her daughter reminds me of her…..she has her mothers eyes. other than that i “guess” she looks like robert…..though i don’t remember what he looks like. and i slightly don’t care.

I really wish Brandy would get back into acting, I really enjoyed Moesha. I always looked up to her style on the show, she was the first one to start rocking braids, which I might add were always on point from the big dookie braids, to those freestyle joints.

You didnt get me upset, I just want us as women to come together and stop tearing each other apart..
