The video for Brandy’s new single, Right Here, debuted earlier today via Yahoo Music Online. As you all know, Brandy will attempt to make her way back on to the charts with her new CD, Human, which is tentatively set to be released on November 11th.
You can check out the video above and look for Brandy to be a presenter this weekend at the MTV Video Music Awards.

OMG! I LOVE IT,… my brandy is back and the video is powerful so much emotion and meaning…its puts sooo much meaning into the song love it 2 death…can’t wait for “human” to come out!!!!!

The song is really good and sends a powerful, uplifting, message. The video, imo, could`ve been better but the song is definitely on point.

Good to see her back, but it seems strange for her to sing a song like this knowing that the woman in that accident died. Maybe it’s her way of dealing with it and trying to reach to her family. It’s kind of weird to me.
THat song makes me cry , brandy been through her share of struggle and i think the more you overcome the better person you become, and those that never struggled a day in their lives have something coming for them … I love the song and brandy looks beautiful

I don’t know what her competition looks like on MTV and BET but she maintained her dignity in the flick. Read..no rump shaking and near nudity. A nice respectable first showing. Good for her.
I didn’t really care for the song the first time I heard it….now it’s just okay. Not a comeback song, imo. Vid is boring, sorry

Bran Bran looks pretty in the video (don’t like the fact that I can tell she’s wearin a lacefront {especially at the end} but she looks great). I like the song, she won’t push mad units with this single though. I’m supporting so, that’s all that matters.

im glad to see b-rocka in the spot light again. i think that after all of this time and those who have grown over a generation of music that is more surface than deep, imo, will find themselves back in love with r&b for all the
right reasons. a time where emotions trandending a great message straight from the heart. embarcing the rythm and the blues of music. where do we find it anymore? im not shy to admit. i listen to some popular stuff now and days, i am for the most part uninterested , and on any occassion and most of the time, i only listen to brandy. call me abit bias, but i have never had to feel overly forced by sex appeal to like who is singing to me. ive gotten to know a beautiful stongstress on any level has always been in a leading league of her own. so when she goes she’ll come back cause there is no way shes leavin. shes my afrodisiac. I am definately in Love with Brandys Right Here (Departed) and “i just cant get enough”

you know the first time i heard this song i thought it sounded like “best friend”. and that is my jam. so this get’s a automatic pass. i like the song alot. and i don’t think she is god in the video.
to me the video seems like it could have been that she has passed on and these people are grieving and her spirit is there to comfort them……you know “i’ll be right here with you, you’ll be right here with me.”
but yeah i hope to hear her next couple of singles soon.
ayo. earlier this morning i saw brandy on 106 and park…..so i tuned in to hear what she was gonna be able to say. and she just seems so darn happy. it almost makes me want to put on a sun dress go outside hop on that bike and sings songs to make me smile….but it’s been inside out upside down and twisted with the hurricane beaten down my state.
but yeah i’m glad she seems alright. shoot……got me wishing for sunshine.

As previously stated on this site, I am a huge Brandy fan. I was hoping for something a little more upbeat as a first single, but I will be supporting my girl, nonetheless. Welcome back :)
