Brandy Sets a Release Date

Sony Music is rumored to have finally set a release date of July 24th for Brandy’s upcoming “Two Eleven” album.

The date is listed as tentative and could possibly change depending on how well the singer’s Chris Brown assisted track “Put It Down” performs on the charts.

Record labels are notorious for pushing back urban themed albums when the first single doesn’t perform well. See Melanie Fiona’s “MF Life” album if you need proof of that.

Brandy’s duet with fellow R&B diva Monica has basically stallded on the charts, leaving the singer to solely depend on “Put It Down” to push the album when it comes out.

The song is presently #9 on iTunes’ R&B charts.

  1. Finally. True r n b. I’ll be there. Just look over your shoulder honey.
