Though not a fashionista myself I recognize that many of the sistas who visit this site are and thus this post is for all of you.I happened to have quite a few pics from fashion week and decided to share those I had from the Baby Phat show.I’ve never been a fan of Baby Phat but amazingly enough I actually like the collection that Kimora and company have put together- lemme know what you guys think.

I think Kimora has upped her game over the last few years because her clothes used to be very cheap looking and trashy.She’s moving away from trying to be just another hip hop line and is incorporating more stylish upscale looks in her line which is a plus.My personal favorite is pic number 16.It’s just very funky.

Everything I have ever seen by Baby Phat has been trash.They all have that big gaudy cheap goldtone cat chain hanging from it and it just screams “CHEAP”.I have never supported her cheap line or that horrid cheap pink make-up line she put out last year.I was shocked to see brown and dark skin women lining up to buy make-up from an Asian woman (I know she half Black but she looks all Asian) who obviously created a line that would match Asian skin tones.All her make-up was a very bright pink flourescent color and dark *** women lining up in droves to buy it.Too foolish.

Ok Kimora. I know that metallics are in this season, but you don’t have to put a gold chain with everything. Some of her designs would have been acceptable if she hadn’t thrown in all the bling

I agree with everyone. Josie is right. She has upped her game with the fashion. Now I haven’t seen anything close to what’s on the catwalk in any stores. Why do some designers do that? Their nice stuff can’t be found nowhere but their cheap-looking, gaudy stuff is everywhere??!!
I also agree with everyone else that she needs major improvement on the purses. They do look cheap and, as a grown woman, I am not walking around with “Baby Phat” written all over my purse or having that cheap goldtone cat hanging off my purse. She might as well keep up appealing to the teenagers on that one.
