Brown Sista Sightings: Teairra, Taraji & Janet

Singer Teairra Mari was seen last week attending the Verizon Palm Centro Launch party. The former “Princess of the ROC”, is trying to make a musical comeback in 2008 and has been keeping a very high profile lately, attending various hot and cold Hollywood events, as well as hosting a few of her own in support of Jean Addicts, for which she is the spokesmodel for.
Actress Taraji P. Henson was seen over the weekend attending the LAFF Awards Ceremony. We will be seeing a lot of this talented sista this year. If you missed it, check out the-> article I posted about her last week.
Last up is a very fair-haired Janet Jackson. While many sistas (Rihanna, Keyshia Cole) have decided to darken and shorten their locks, Janet has followed the opposite trend and seems to be sporting a longer and lighter do everytime we see her. Here the sista is above attending the Christian Dior Fall/Winter Fashion Show in Paris. She looks pretty cool seated between a ghostly pale looking Liv Tyler and boyfriend, Jermaine Dupri. Taraji is great–I’m sad that she’s not in more things.
Janet…. I love Janet. I don’t even mind her wig–she’s trying new things, y’all! But look at her body language. That’s what I looked at first. She looks uncomfortable to me. I can’t tell whether it’s her wig, her jacket, her man, or Liv Tyler makin’ her body language so weird. hehehehe Maybe it’s all of those things, who knows!

I don’t like the red lips on Teairra either but other than that she is adorable. Janet looks great to me. Taraji has come a long way since playing in Baby Boy. Other sistas can learn from her. She didn’t stay up in the club or bent over in men’s magazines. She honed her craft and went for roles that would elevate her and now she is reaping the rewards.

I love Janet I just thinks she has on too much make-up. She is naturally pretty she didn’t need that make-up on like that. But you are right Janet is the girl I will hush (ha-ha).
