Sanaa Lathan Beautiful Brown Sistas Sanaa Lathan, Viola Davis and Kerry Washington were all spotted over the weekend at various Tribeca Film Festival events. Sanaa, who brought out “the twins”, attended the TFI Awards along with Oscar nominee Viola Davis. Both actresses are a part of the voting body that hand out awards at the festival each year and were hand picked by TFI co-founder Robert De Niro to sit on the panel. This is the event’s eighth year and the first for both Sanaa and Viola.

Actress Kerry Washington was also present for film festival activities this weekend and was seen attending the Chanel hosted dinner for the festival’s 2009 Artist Awards Program.

Pics from both events can be seen below.

Nice rack. I guess she’s decided to show more skin now. I liked her attitude during her “Love & Basketball” days. I guess the older the actresses get the more they feel like they have to show more skin . Now that’s not all of them, just a lot of them. Show more T &A, opted for more “Mainstream” movies and be seen with more white actors. Hey, I’m just calling it like I see it. Just a history with my black actresses. Just my opinion which I’m entitled too. Viola looks great! Kerry looking good too, shocked that she’s covered up. That’s a rarity, but she looks great too. Of course she’s also the perfect example of what I was speaking of earlier.

  2. Sanaa has been showing off those puppies for years :lol2:

  3. Keepin It Real

Sanaa has shut my mouth finally. She looks absolutely fab…finally! I almost took up a collection for decent duds for my favorite fab chica. But, she rose to the occasion. No more Ross sales for her…I hope!

  4. Sanaa is voluptuous!

    (no lezzie) LOL

    Love her.

I wish Viola had worn another color blouse. That purple washes her out. She needs warm tones to complement her skin. Love her too. And Kerry, is always so cute. Great images!

  5. I love Ms Lathan!!!! She looks stunning… I see she decided to take the “Girlz” out to party too! lol Kerry Washington looks Fab

  6. Sanaa has gained a really cute shape over the last 10 years, cuz when “love and basketball” came out, she didn’t have any of that. lol

  7. @kanyade, thats the FIRST thing i said, that deep purple doesnt do a THING for her, she needs a brighter color on top for sure to make her skin pop.

and i didnt know sanaa had all those boobs! lol she looks great man, hope i can look like that good when i get older! :-)

and kerry looks retro-fab, i thin she should have had a thin black or yellow belt to accentuate her waist. but still cute.

I think the “older” actresses just get more confident with age. I’ve noticed this in myself. As I get closer to thirty, I feel more comfortable in my own skin and don’t care so much what other people think.

I’m not crazy about Sanaa’s dress. She should have gone with something more youthful. Y’all hit the nail right on the head with Viola..the purple does nothing for her. She has violet undertones in her skin, which should be set off with golds and yellows. Kerry always looks fun and flirty.

  9. Kerry Washington and Sanaa Lathan look beautiful. I love their look and the fact that they are confidant enough to be bold and risky once and awhile. And it doesn’t take away from their sophistication. It just gives them layers. Jackie O, the queen of sophistication posed nude. People shouldn’t have only one idea of sophistication.

And Sanaa and Kerry acting opposite more white males could it be that the white actors and producers, directors , studio execs like their look and talent.

  10. Everyone look good but Violet face looks tired and that fake *** smile is killing me

  11. oh my Viola your foundation is a wrong tone, you look crazy and i dnt think your skin needs foundation at all, just keep your skin hydrated not oily try shea butter and put rooibos teabags under your eyes and get some sleep,yo dark beautiful skin will thankyou.
