Gabrielle Union, Elizabeth Banks and Ed Helms have signed on to ride with Eddie Murphy on the 20th Century Fox comedy “Starship Dave.” The script centers on a spaceship that takes the form of a human, played by Oscar nominee Murphy. It’s manned by 100 human-looking, quarter-inch-tall aliens in search of a way to save their planet. But trouble arises when their captain, also played by Murphy, falls in love with an Earth woman who always picks losers to date. Union will play the chief cultural officer of the miniature crew. I wonder who then will play Eddie’s love interest?

Gabrielle Union’s new movie “Daddy’s Little Girls” took in about 11.5 million dollars at the box office-a showing that was good enough to land the film in fith place.Unfortunately, that was about 18 million dollars less than what Tyler Perry’s last movie, “Madea’s Family Reunion” took in.I saw the movie and thoroughly enjoyed it but there is already talk that without the Madea character folks will not turn out to see Tyler’s films.I truly hope this is false and urge anyone who has not seen this movie to go out and support it.The film has gotten solid reviews and Gabrielle Union shines in her role as do the 3 little girls who were cast as Idris Elba’s daughters.Malinda Williams, Terri J. Vaughn, and Tracee Ellis Ross are also just a handful of beautiful Brown Sistas you can expect to see in this film as well.

Gabrielle Union is heading to TV- ABC TV to be exact. As previously reported, Gabrielle signed a six-figure deal with ABC and Touchstone to develop new shows for the station and it seems their first venture will be “Football Wives”, a remake of a popular BBC soap opera.Gabrielle will not only produce the show, but is scheduled to star in it as well.Gabby will portray and ex model turned singer who is married to a star wide receiver. No date has been set so far as to when the show will start airing, but I can only assume it will be added to the line-up this fall.
