Gabrielle Union is heading to TV- ABC TV to be exact.As previously reported, Gabrielle signed a six-figure deal with ABC and Touchstone to develop new shows for the station and it seems their first venture will be “Football Wives”, a remake of a popular BBC soap opera.Gabrielle will not only produce the show, but is scheduled to star in it as well.Gabby will portray and ex model turned singer who is married to a star wide receiver.No date has been set so far as to when the show will start airing, but I can only assume it will be added to the line-up this fall.

Meagan Good is starring in the new film “Stomp The Yard” which is due to hit theaters January 12th.Meagan plays the part of April who is of course the main character’s love interest.This is a role Meagan has played a million times and will probably play a million more.Though I’m sure “STY” is a fine film it is all about the fellas and Meagan and most of the other females in the movie will probably be sporadically seen eye candy at best.The premiere of “STY” went down in Cali last night and Meagan, along with many other Brown Sistas showed up for the festivities.You can check out Meagan below and look for pics of Lauren London and Gabrielle Union later on today.

Lionsgate has released a new poster for Tyler Paerry’s upcoming movie “Daddy’s Little Girls”.A romantic drama about family, community and love against the odds, Tyler Perry’s Daddy’s Little Girls stars Gabrielle Union and Idris Elba.
A single father, Monty (Elba) is a garage mechanic who lives in a poor neighborhood and struggles to make ends meet as he raises his three young daughters on his own. But when the courts award custody of his daughters to his corrupt, drug-dealing ex-wife, Monty desperately tries to win them back, enlisting the help of Julia (Union), a beautiful, yet hard-nosed attorney he meets during his short stint as a chauffeur. Gabrielle Union, last seen on the small screen in ABC�s short-lived �Night Stalker,� has signed a mid-six-figure casting and development deal with ABC and Touchstone to take another stab at television.

According to Variety, the deal calls for the network and studio to seek out and develop new starring vehicles for Union.The actress is already meeting with writers to find a project, the trade reports. If Union isn�t feeling any of those projects, she�ll be available to star in one of the network�s pilots, reports Variety.

I’m a big Gabrielle Union fan but I am not so sure I will be checking out her new movie because it just doesn’t appeal to me.Gabby plays Annette Benning’s lesbian lover and the thought of that alone makes my stomach turn.Annette Benning is as old as dirt and so not cute.If Gabby was going to play someone’s lesbian lover they should have at least given her someone young and half way decent looking.I must say Gabby’s overall choice in movies these days does not really suit me.From the insanely screwy Neo Ned to this new film, I just cannot get into her choice of roles as of late. Hopefully all that will change with her next two films, The Perfect Christmas and Daddy’s Little Girl.In the meantime you can check out these absolutely stunning pics of Gabby as she arrives for the premiere of her new movie and hopefully by tomorrow I will have high quality versions to add to our gallery.
