Gabrielle Union is heading to TV- ABC TV to be exact.As previously reported, Gabrielle signed a six-figure deal with ABC and Touchstone to develop new shows for the station and it seems their first venture will be “Football Wives”, a remake of a popular BBC soap opera.Gabrielle will not only produce the show, but is scheduled to star in it as well.Gabby will portray and ex model turned singer who is married to a star wide receiver.No date has been set so far as to when the show will start airing, but I can only assume it will be added to the line-up this fall.

Lionsgate has released a new poster for Tyler Paerry’s upcoming movie “Daddy’s Little Girls”.A romantic drama about family, community and love against the odds, Tyler Perry’s Daddy’s Little Girls stars Gabrielle Union and Idris Elba.
A single father, Monty (Elba) is a garage mechanic who lives in a poor neighborhood and struggles to make ends meet as he raises his three young daughters on his own. Gabrielle Union, last seen on the small screen in ABC�s short-lived �Night Stalker,� has signed a mid-six-figure casting and development deal with ABC and Touchstone to take another stab at television.
According to Variety, the deal calls for the network and studio to seek out and develop new starring vehicles for Union.The actress is already meeting with writers to find a project, the trade reports. If Union isn�t feeling any of those projects, she�ll be available to star in one of the network�s pilots, reports Variety.
