Okay, I know the title of this post is totally inappropriate, but it was the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw these pics of Tyra and Janet together. Tyra is known for touching her guests in a special way and it appears she was touching the hell outta Janet in these pics (lol). But seriously, I think Janet was showing Tyra some of her moves and well Tyra then tried to show Janet some of hers. Okay, I need to stop. But for real for real this time. A Janet fan who attended the taping said Janet was trying to teach Tyra some moves from the Feedback video and they fell. Still, Tyra does seem to be enjoying the fall just a little too much. As for Janet- she’s looking absolutely amazing in these pics and I love her new glammed up look. It’s a vast improvement from the tomboy-ish boy look she sported earlier this week on GMA and TRL.

Well this is it- the last post of “Discipline Day”. I have decided to close things out with more pics from Janet’s photo shoot with photographers Chuando and Frey. I am just giddy with all the Janet-ness that has gone down today. From the GMA performance to the TRL performance (which I will post about soon), Janet fans are just beside themselves with happiness- and I am one of those fans. Though I didn’t dare go out into the cold and rain to see my girl perform live, I did stay glued to my television and computer all day just so I wouldn’t miss anything- and I am glad I did because I just so happen to have run across this fabulous green-eyed photo of Janet on the April cover of Ebony Magazine. Ebony asks if Janet still has it- but I think that question has been answered resoundingly with the two performances she gave today. The 42 year old singer is as smooth and graceful on the stage as she was 20 years ago and without a doubt her detractors have been silenced. Expect all this Janet hoopla to boost sales and check back with us tomorrow as Hits Daily Double will be the first to post Janet’s first day sales and Brown Sista will fa damn sho be the second (lol).

Singer Janet Jackson performed live during Good Morning America’s “Winter Concert Series” and gave a stellar performance that only an artist of her caliber could. Backed up by a live band, 3 back-up singers and 8 back-up dancers, Janet performed her new hit “Feedback”, as well as her next single “Rock With U”, and even took us back in the day by performing her classic- “That’s The Way Loves Goes”.

It’s here! It’s finally here! The day Janet fans have been dreaming about for months has finally arrived. Today, February 26, 2008 is the day Janet Jackson’s new CD “Discipline” hits store shelves across the country. Fans are dancing in the streets or will be in a couple of hours, as Janet is due to take over New York City today, giving not one, but two performances. Janet will be performing on Good Morning America and the show will be taped live inside the Nokia Theater. However, for her afternoon show, Janet will be performing live in Times Square for MTV’s TRL crowd. Yes, I said MTV. Janet will take over the station that named her their very first ICON for the entire day and will be heavily promoted for the next couple of days as she has also been named their “Artist Of The Week”.

The world’s most fabulous ICON, Janet Jackson will grace the April 2008 cover of Vibe Magazine. But because Janet is the ultimate diva- she doesn’t get just one cover- but two. The first cover is an obvious salute to her brother Michael’s groundbreaking Off The Wall album- and the second is just Janet being Janet- sexy and casual. This is Vibe’s first ever “Photo Issue”, so expect some spectacular pics of Janet to be inside the magazine as well.

Janet Jackson’s forthcoming album Discipline (out Feb. 26) is full of thumping club tracks, but since Valentine’s Day is upon us, we thought we’d slow it down for our exclusive chat with the diva. Below, we grill Janet on the slow and sexy jams (or, as they’re often referred to, baby-making songs) of her career, from the song that created the mold (”Funny How Time Flies (When You’re Having Fun)” from 1986’s Control), to the steamy title track of her new album. Nothing was off limits, both musically (album cuts, b-sides and chart smashes are all covered) and topically (since Janet’s baby-making songs tend to cover the subject of, well, making babies rather thoroughly).
