Singer Kelly Rowland just unveiled a preview of her new single ‘Dirty Laundry.’ The track is written by The Dream and will officially be made available on iTunes May 21st. Kelly says she can’t wait for fans to hear the song in its entirety and referred to it as a “game changer’ via her official website.

Not much a preview, right?
I suspect more will probably hit the net over the weekend.
For the second year in a row actress Gabrielle Union has been named one of People Magazine’s ’50 Most Beautiful’ people. Gabby is joined on this year’s list by fellow Brown Sista beauties Kelly Rowland, Halle Berry Berry and Kerry Washington.
Gabrielle and Kelly both did photo shoots for the issue. Gabrielle’s dealt with beauty over 40, while Kelly’s was all about going au natural.
According to Gabrielle, her fountain of youth can literally be found in the fountain. Gabby says water is her only key to maintaining a youthful appearance. “I started drinking a gallon of water a day in my mid-thirties. It changed everything from weight maintenance to hair, skin, nails and digestion. It was truly a life saver,” she told People.
As for Miss Kelly, her shoot required her to take it off… make-up that is. Kelly says she was like “Oh my gosh” when asked to take part in People’s no make-up challenge.
The ‘Kisses Down Low’ cutie says she struggled with the concept, mostly because make-up helps hide the bags she gets under her eyes whenever she is tired. Other than that, Kelly says she skips make-up when she’s not working and that not wearing it makes her feel “clean.”

In between putting the finishing touches on her ‘Talk a Good Game’ album and shooting episodes of her upcoming ‘What Would Dylan Do?’ series for BET, Kelly Rowland somehow found time to start work on a shoe and accessories line.
In a recent interview with Rolling Stone, Kelly says the line is in its “early stages” but that she has met with a distributor and hopes to have her brand of “luxurious but affordable” designs carried in upscale department stores across the country.
Kelly says her foray into fashion is simply the next step in her “evolution as a woman” and that as a woman it was time she start doing “grown-woman things.”
Rolling Stone also took the opportunity to ask Kelly about Keyshia Cole’s recent comments on fellow band member Michelle Williams’ performance at this year’s Super Bowl. Kelly kept is quick and classy, saying simply: “It didn’t even make it on my radar until other people brought it up. It didn’t even matter. We had a wonderful performance, and that’s all I cared about. I was with my sisters and the three of us matter to each other, and that’s all that counts. We matter to a lot more people, with all due respect, than her. So, I really don’t care what she had to said.”
X Factor U.K. host, Kelly Rowland, has landed the cover of yet another magazine. Thanks to the singer’s well documented fashion choices on the show, Kelly has been chosen to be the face of Stylist magazine’s upcoming ‘Showstopper’ issue.
According to Kelly, she was shocked by how popular her Facebook posts about what outfit she would be wearing for the show’s tapings became. Glamour magazine eventually caught on to the hotness and soon recruited the singer to do a fashion column for them weekly.
Asked if she would ever consider starting a clothing of her own, the 30 year singer said the opportunity had been presented to her, but no final decision has been made. “Music is being so good to me right now,” Kelly responded. “I want to focus all my time and energy on mastering one field before I venture off into another.”

Singer Kelly Rowland is today basking in the glow of having her “Motivation” single officially certified platinum. A press release was issued late last night, prompting Kelly to wisely pass the good news on to her many followers on Facebook and Twitter.
To date “Motivation” has spent a total of 23 weeks on the charts- seven of those comfortably perched atop the Billboard R & B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
Kelly’s “Here I Am” album was released on July 26th and has so far sold just over 119,000 copies. According to songwriter and producer Rico Love, work on Kelly’s next album is already underway.
Singer Kelly Rowland has unveiled her new single “Motivation,” which features pint size rapper Lil Wayne. The track will serve as the first single from Kelly’s revamped album, which still has no release date or official name. Give it a listen below and let us know what you think. Does Kelly finally have a hot single on her hands, or should she once again go back to the drawing board.
Kelly Rowland has announced a new lead single from her upcoming album. The 30 year old singer, who has seen her latest CD be delayed by almost a year, says “Motivation” will now be the official first single from her still untitled project. Kelly revealed news of her new single at a recent Roberto Cavalli fashion show, adding that the song will have a dance mash-up type of feel. Kelly’s previously released singles, “Commander,” “Rose Colored Glasses” and “Forever and a Day,” were all great tracks, but failed to spark radio interest, thus forcing the singer’s label to delay her album multiple times. And though a name and release date for the project still hasn’t been chosen. Kelly says the album should be out by early summer.
Rapper Kanye West may have thought he was throwing brown skin sistas a bone when he referenced singer Kelly Rowland in his hit song “Power;” however the singer’s fans are singing a different tune. After Kelly told Complex magazine she was basically flattered by the shout out- her fans took to Twitter and Facebook to voice their displeasure with not only Kanye, but with Kelly as well. This forced Kelly to hop online and basically tell her fans to take it down a thousand.

For those not familiar with the lyrics to Kanye’s “Power” single, check out the part below that specifically references Kelly…
“The system broken, the schools closed, the prisons open/ We ain’t got nothin’ to lose, Motha—-er, we rollin’/ Huh? Motha—-er, we rollin’/ With some light-skinned girls and some Kelly Rowlands”
Kelly recently spoke to MTV about the “Power” reference as well and said she felt as if Kanye was holding her up as a standard of beauty. Many tweeted that Kanye’s lyrics do nothing more than insinuate that Kelly is cute “to be so dark” and that the singer should in no way be flattered by such a juvenile comment.
Whatever the case, Kelly has spoken about her hang-ups with her color in the past, saying she never really thought she was beautiful until Tina Knowles told her she was.
I have to give major props to Kelly Rowland and her label. Despite the lukewarm response to all the singles Kelly has released from her upcoming third solo album, the label keeps making videos and trying to push the music. Honestly, the rest is up to radio and the public. They are either going to support Kelly or not.
Check out the singer’s latest video for her single “Forever and a Day.” This new video is being released just days after Kelly released the video for “Rose Colored Glasses.”
Singer Kelly Rowland is featured in the latest issue of online magazine YRB. The former DC3 beauty donned a 1920s bob for a Mike Ruiz photo shoot that featured feathered boas, sequins, and in some photos- not much else. Kelly recently wrapped up filming on two new videos and is still expected to release her new album sometime this year. Like Ciara, Kelly’s album has been pushed back multiple times and is now at the mercy of the singer’s label.
