Is R&B Singer Keyshia Cole Engaged to be Married?
Keyshia Cole is apparently getting married again. The 34-year old singer casually revealed the news via a late night chat session with fans on Twitter.
When asked if she was [still] married, Keyshia responded, “No Engaged.” A follow-up question by another fan asked if her fiancé is Cash Money CEO Bryan “Birdman” Williams, to which Cole replied, “No ma’am.”
Keyshia Cole’s remix of Drake’s single Hotline Bling is paying off in spades. Released less than a month ago, the song has become an unexpected hit, charting based solely on online streams.
With news she had a hit on her hands, Keyshia quickly went about shooting a video for the tune, enlisting the help of model Don Benjamin and reality TV star Malaysia Pargo.
Keyshia took to Instagram to unveil a preview of the clip, writing “This is just a sneak peek of the surprise I told y’all about. Putting the final touches on it now. Again, shoutout to @champagnepapi. I just wanted to bring a female perspective to record and represent for my ladies.”
New Music: Keyshia Cole Hotline Bling Remix
Singer Keyshia Cole is back with new music, a remix to Drake’s summer hit Hotline Bling. The tune was remixed last week by Jadakiss, whose anti-female version more than likely led Keyshia to whip up her more female-friendly version less than 48 hours later.
“Much respect to @champagnepapi,” Keyshia Instagrammed to fans. “But this one is for the ladies.” Drake co-signed Keyshia’s post, so we assume her version met with his approval.
Don’t Waste My Time by Keyshia Cole to be Released as Free Single
Several months after announcing it, singer Keyshia Cole has finally gotten around to releasing her single Don’t Waste My Time. The track was originally slated to be unveiled back in June and is a collaboration between the singer, producer London on Da Track and rapper Young Thug.
Keyshia is presently at work on her new album, and says her official first single will be available soon. So what is Don’t Waste My Time? Well, according to Keyshia, it is “something for the streets.”
Singer Keyshia Cole is moving ahead with the promotion of her latest CD, “Calling All Hearts.” Despite less than stellar sales, the 29 year old R n’ B diva and her record label, Geffen, have started production on two new videos, including one for her next single, “Take Me Away.” Keyshia tweeted a photo from the set, saying the shoot “felt good” and that it was her first time ever smiling throughout an entire video.
Check out this gorgeous pic of an absolutely beautiful Keyshia Cole spending the day at the mall with her son Daniel Hiram Gibson Jr. The singer revealed the pic herself via her Twitter page, making this the first ever photo of her son posted online.
The public was apparently so turned off by Kelly Rowland naming her new album “Kelly Rowland,” that the singer decided to scrap the title and instead enlist the help of her fans in choosing a name. Fellow r n’ b diva Keyshia Cole however doesn’t appear to be having the same problem, as news of her titling her new CD “Keyshia” doesn’t seem to be causing the same kind of uproar. Speaking to Hip Hop Diva recently about the recording process, Cole said “It feels great. I worked hard to get to where I am today and have matured greatly in between my albums- which was proven on my last album A Different Me– so I just give blessings to God for what he has given me.” Keyshia’s A Different Me topped the R n’ B charts when it was released back in 2008, selling 322,000 in its opening week and marking the singer’s biggest debut ever. Keyshia says she hopes to duplicate that success and is said to be working with producers like Donald Alfaro and Darkchild in order to make that happen.
Look for “Keyshia” to drop around November 2010 with the first single to possibly be released in October.
