Gabrielle Union is heading to TV- ABC TV to be exact.As previously reported, Gabrielle signed a six-figure deal with ABC and Touchstone to develop new shows for the station and it seems their first venture will be “Football Wives”, a remake of a popular BBC soap opera.Gabrielle will not only produce the show, but is scheduled to star in it as well.Gabby will portray and ex model turned singer who is married to a star wide receiver.No date has been set so far as to when the show will start airing, but I can only assume it will be added to the line-up this fall.

Toni Braxton is the latest artist to be added to the line-up of beautiful brown sistas already scheduled to perform at next month’s NBA All Star Game.As previously reported, Mary J. Jennifer Hudson and Eddie Murphy just cannot be stopped.After picking up Golden Globes for their supporting roles in Dreamgirls, both have won the Screen Actors Guild Award as well.Winning two prestigious awards back to back have set both Jennifer and Eddie up to almost assuredly take home an Oscar when they are handed out next month.You can check out a few pics from the event below as both Jamie Foxx and the wonderfully underrated Annika Noni Rose showed up to support their cast mates.

Singer Mary J. Blige will guest star in Ghost Whisperer, Friday, February 9th. on CBS.Mary, whose music will be featured in the episode, plays Jackie Boyd, the coach of a high-ranked high school cheerleading team whose members are being disabled, one by one, by seemingly freak accidents in the days preceding their big cheerleading competition.The series also stars Jennifer Love Hewitt as a woman who can talk to the earthly spirit of the deceased.I have included a few stills of Mary’s episode below and will add the more interesting ones to our gallery when it is back up and running.
