Celebrity Sistas Flock To Fashion Week

With all the Superbowl hoopla going on I almost forgot that Fashion Week in New York City’s Bryany Park was in full swing. Every February designer’s from around the globe converge on the city to showcase their fall fashion collections. One of the most popular showings is Kimora Lee Simmons’ Baby Phat line, which is alaways heavily attended by celebrity sistas. This year was no different as Tyra Banks, Vivica Fox, and Amerie were just a few of the ladies who showed up to see what Baby Phat had to offer for the Fall of 2008.
Other Brown Sistas in attendance includded Mary J. Blige, Chrisette Michelle, and LisaRaye McCoy-Misick

Yes Mary is not wearing make up…she doesn’t look too bad w/out it but I think we are used to her with it. Amerie has been looking different lately, I can’ put my finger on it. Tyra looks great and Chrisette Michell is adorable…Vivica….eh!

Liyah it the hair color on amerie that look different. It ok i think she need to stick with dark color. Vivica look like she suck to much of u know what she look a mess for real. What happen to her. Her n 50 cent broken up she just went down hill, her movie career everything. But i did like the movie salon. Every one else look ok.

I agree. Just as I thought Beyonce was better with the slightly lighter hair, I think Amerie is definitely prettier with the darker hair. That color she has now washed her out and makes her look old lady-ish to me.

Yes Dark color fits Amerie so much better. I am so tired of seeing sistas with Blonde hair, even though Amerie is mixed

I am afraid of Tyra’s wig, Amerie’s haircolor, Mary without makeup (although I do admire clear skin), Vivica’s trannyliciousness, Chrisette’s dog and LisaRaye’s red lipstick (I think Mama Tina got a hold of her and Vivica).

Great pics. I immediately noticed Mary’s not wearing makeup in her pic, but she doesn’t look bad. Tyra looks great as usual, I rarely see Tyra and think she looks less than great. Amerie and Beyonce look very similar to me, and the blonde hair just confirms that they do. I used to, and occasionally still do, get them confused at first sight. Chrisette Michelle’s pet looks unhappy to be in attendance.

Mary doesn’t look bad for her age and considering all the DRAMA she’s been through in her life. If she was a white woman she would look a whole lot worse! Thank God for that extra pigmentation!

Dang! A diet plan, that’s a little harsh, I think she should just tone up a little. But she usually chooses her clothes well and doesn’t try to rock stuff that thin people wear. In her video for “Be Ok” she actually looked like she slimmed down some.
