Icons: Ciara on the Cover of Legend Magazine
Ciara is gracing the cover of #Legend magazine. The 30-year old 1, 2 Step singer is putting her modeling contract with IMG to good use, posing for a stunning Dennis Leupold-helmed photoshoot. The ever-evolving chanteuse is lensed wearing an array of haute couture looks, including a cape by Naeem Khan, a crown by Bjorn van den Berg, and a gorgeous gold lamé coat and bodysuit by Lanvin and Oscar Carvallo.
In her editorial with the magazine, Ciara discusses a variety of things, including her upcoming album, which caused her to cancel her Jackie tour earlier this year. “I’m not at a place where I’m ready to share the creative details because I want it to be special for my fans when I do share it,” Ciara told the publication. “I’m taking my time on it. I want to make sure that I put myself in every part of it, all my creative thoughts, feelings, everything on this album.”
Ciara also talked about her love of fashion, saying she hopes to one day start her own brand. “It’s always been my intention to have my own clothing line. That’s one of my goals. It’s all about timing though and making sure I have everything set up.”
To read Ciara’s entire interview you can head over to #Legend’s official website, where she also discusses baby Future, her charity work, and why she thinks it’s important for artists to brand themselves.
