Ciara Denies ‘Future’ Split

CIARA CALLS US WEEKLY A BUNCH OF LIARS (140x140)

Rumors of Ciara and fiancé Future calling it quits are nothing new. In fact, urban blogs have been reporting this for well over a month now. However, it took a nationally syndicated magazine like US Weekly co-signing the story to get it on the front page of sites like Yahoo and even CNN.

The story becoming national news quickly galvanized Ciara, who up until this point had made no public comments about the rumor.

However, just a few moments ago, Ciara broke her silence, taking to her Twitter account to flat out call US Weekly liars.

According to CiCi, she gave the magazine’s beauty department an interview in conjunction with Degree and MTV’s House of Style, which they then manipulated in order to create a story.

Below are Ciara’s tweets, including the first which she eventually deleted and then later clarified.

FYI, when will people realize US Weekly is no better than the National Enquirer? They are not a reputable magazine. They’re the white printed version of Media Takeout.

  1. whatever the case is, I wish her well. it’s tough having relationship issues with a new baby, I can’t imagine having to play it in front of the media

  2. Great words Danielle.
As I traverse the internet, it’s crazy to see how many black women are wishing Ciara the absolute worse. It’s amazing how much misery and hate love company.
Though I personally think Ciara could have chosen a more quality man than Future, I sure don’t think she deserves to be called a thot or baby mama.

  3. Empathy is a lost art form. Humanity now means saying the harshest things possible with no decorum. Telling it like it is Wendy Williams style. It still amaze me how women don’t relate or at least can imagine how much pain or discomfort a break-up is after just having a baby while the world looks on, delighting that she is what so many holler, a statistic, another bm, how she should have known better. Even when I want to gloat in my own life, I refrain and muster up the most beneficial words or energy I send out. People can state their opinions without being mean-spirited, Robin Williams daughter is another example of cyber hatred.

I was shocked to read that men have higher self-esteem than women because so much of what we feel about ourselves and other women is based on perception, physical attributes, body image, etc. Ciara just missed a serious jam, better now than later, at least she didn’t waste years learning the truth if they have truly gone their separate ways! “This too shall pass!”

  4. We don’t know that they’ve broken up though. I’m personally hoping they haven’t.

  5. CYNTHIA AWESOME!!! I WILL SAY THIS NOT BEING NEGATIVE I THINK THAT WHEN YOU MEET MEN AND SEE A PATTERN OF DIFFERENT WOMEN AND BABIES WITH EACH ONE. YOU’RE TAKING A HUGE GAMBLE TO THINK YOU’RE GOING TO BE TREATED ANY DIFFERENT! PRAYING FOR THIS SISTER!!
