Ciara’s Hall of Fame Induction

Perez Hilton's 35th Birthday Party Extravaganza - Arrivals

According to Sony Entertainment, Ciara’s new single ‘Body Party’ has helped land her an induction into TheDrop.FM’s R&B Hall of Fame.

After taking on all comers, including Bridget Kelly’s ‘Street Dreamin,’ Robin Thicke’s ‘Blurred Lines,’ The Dream’s ‘Tron’ and B. Smyth’s ‘Leggo,’ Ciara’s ‘Body Party’ was the victor time and time again in the website’s R&B Sound Off competition.

Ciara’s four consecutive wins secured ‘Body Party,s’ spot in the Sound Off Hall of Fame and made Ciara the first female artist to be inducted.

Now, we know this isn’t the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, but it’s still worth noting- besides- Ciara won’t officially be eligible for that honor until 2029.

In other CiCi news, with an official release date of June 4th for her ‘One Woman Army’ album, Ciara is revealing more details about the project which we now know will feature collaborations with Nicki Minaj and Missy Elliott.

Ciara recently spoke about the Nicki collabo, calling the Hip-Pop rapper “a beast in the studio” and “fun and professional to work it.”

  1. good luck, she needs singles on radio to drop, at least the one with Nicki

  2. she got the nomination because no one really bothers with the voting mess. Her stans stayed up 24/7 voting. I hope they do that when the album drops.
