According to producer Polow da Don, a collaboration between singers Ciara and Keri Hilson is in the works. The super producer appears to think Keri may be the key to saving Ciara’s fledgling career, tweeting his belief that the singer’s star power would increase exponentially over the next year. Both Ciara and Keri released albums during the month of December. Ciara’s “Basic Instinct” moved 37,000 copies in its first week, while Keri’s “No Boy Allowed” moved 102,000 copies.
The singers both recently appeared together on Ustream to squash continued rumors of a rivalry. Both admitted to allowing the media/bloggers to get in between their friendship, but said they had put the bad blood aside.
As for when the collaboration will take place, Polow simply said “2011.”
