Ciara Postpones Jackie Tour Until Spring 2016
The second leg of Ciara’s North American Jackie Tour has been postponed until spring of next year.
According to a press release issued yesterday, “A global entertainment company has extended an opportunity to further market and promote the next leg of the tour,” which will now include additional dates, and special surprises for fans who’ve already purchased tickets.
Ciara also released a separate statement to fans, saying: “I am very excited about moving my tour to the new scheduled dates for the great things we have planned ahead. The Jackie Tour has been successful and I look forward to rockin’ with my fans again in 2016.”
Rumor has it Ciara may be thinking of moving to larger venues. Her previous 18 sold-out dates were at theaters with an average capacity of around 1,800. Should she attempt to make that move, I would hope more music and videos would be forthcoming. Her last single, Dance Like We’re Making Love, was released almost four months ago.
Whatever the case, Ciara puts on a damn good show and having a huge sponsor that believes in her is just what she needs. Hopefully she’ll get some killer costumes and an updated stage to help take her Jackie Tour to the next level.
