Ciara Inks New Deal with Warner Brothers Records

Ciara Signs to Warner Brothers Records

Ciara has been signed to Warner Brothers Records. Via her social media pages, Ciara announced the deal earlier today after spending most of the week hinting at “something big.” Ciara parted ways with Epic Records in early 2016 before eventually being signed to Interscope. That deal obviously soured because here we are in 2017 and Ciara has announced yet another deal.

Let’s hope Warner Brothers provides Ciara with the support she needs to get her career back on track. 2015’s Jackie was a solid effort but the album has reportedly failed to cross the 100k mark in the United States. She also ended up postponing her tour twice before eventually canceling it altogether.

No word when Ciara might release new music, but if you need a quick fix, check her out above singing Diana Ross’s classic 1980 hit I’m Coming Out. The tune was penned by Nile Rodgers who is also signed to Warner Brothers. Go figure. Maybe Nile can bless Ciara with some classic flava. For those outta the loop, Google Nile. He is a musical God who wrote and produced everything from David Bowie’s Let’s Dance to Sister Sledge’s We are Family.

  1. I’m excited for Ciara!!!! She needs the right people to invest in her anyway. I want Ciara to get innovative and stay consistent with the creative process.

  2. I’m here for it. Get it Ciara. Can’t think of anyone more deserving of success than her. Such a class act.

  3. She sounds fine to me. Diana Ross didn’t have a powerful voice either but she knew how to use it. Good luck Ciara.

  4. Child, what do you (JerzGyrl66) sound like? I wonder if you could sing off the cuff, with a piano, on camera in front of millions? I know i’d be terrible.

Ciara’s voice is light and fun. Not everybody can sound like “everybody”. Who wants the “same” anyway?
