Nice to finally see the pics and the inside article.I understand what she is saying about Janet too.At some point people want to acknowledged for who they are not constantly be compared to some artist that came before them.First it was Janet now Aaliyah.It’s about time Ciara asserts herself and says she is her own woman and performer.Good for her.

I know that’s right. People are so quick to compare, history repeats itself sometimes, so its not like these artists are doing it on purpose. Nothing is new under the sun
Ciara has always been a cute girl and she looks nice in these pics.I’m glad she is putting her foot down too.I like Janet and Aaliyah but Ciara is nothing like them.Ciara is rougher and dances more street.She is definitely her own performer.
Ciara doesn’t have any fashion sense that I know of.She is always wearing black spandex pants.This is not the 80’s.Next thing you know she gonna be trying to bring leg warmers back in. :lol:
She looks good. no doubt. But the comparison will continue…Janet has never had a powerful singing voice. Neither did Aaliyah. All they did was dance with their mid-drifts hanging out in that whisper like tone.
it is what it is. If Ciara wants to be different she has to make different music.
