As previously reported, the best darn thing to come outta the 80’s since Janet Jackson’s Control album, my girls Salt n’ Pepa, have signed on to do a reality series with VH-1. Since Salt walked away from the group in the late 90’s, she has married, had two children and found God. Pepa on the other hand is supposedly still a wild child trying to relive the heyday of the group’s popularity, and that apparently is the premise of the show. Pepa wants Salt to come back to performing, while Salt is weary of doing anything that she thinks is contrary to the spiritual person she is today. The show is due to air October 15th. and VH-1 has released about a five minute promo of the premiere episode.
In this clip Shaquille O’Neal’s wife has requested S&P perform at his birthday party and Salt is of course ambivalent about performing many of the songs she did back in the day as she considers them racy.

I am so jaded when it comes to reality shows. I don’t know what to expect and I stopped expecting realism years ago. I will be watching though cause I’m a child of the eighties and I loved me some Salt and Pepa.
Them too!! Well I will be having a peep but as they have not really done anything for like forever, I fail to see the point. Is Spinderalla going to be in it as well? In wonder if the performance at Shaq’s b’day happened in the past considering they have split up.
Its amazing how great they still look. I will definately watch, not only because I love salt&Pepa but I am addicted to reality shows like nobody’s business!

IT LOOKS GOOD BUT ITS FUNNY THAT THE TREND NOW IS TO FIND GOD. LOL BUT MARRY A FOOTBALL PLAYER AND LIVE THE WEALTHY LIFE. SALT HAS A POINT BUT IT COULD BE WORKED OUT, I THINK SHE JUST HAS A PROBLEM WITH PEPA AND JUST HASN’T CONFRONTED HER.
I looooooooooove these two/three and will be watching every episode. They both look really good!
