While Fox’s 2013 breakout drama Sleepy Hollow was busy shooting itself in the foot today with news of yet another woman from Ichabod’s past being added to the show, the network’s 2015 breakout drama Empire was busy doing just the opposite, delighting fans with the release of the official Cookie and Lucious artwork for the upcoming season.

The stunning gold-themed poster, featuring stars Tarji P. Henson and Terrence Howard, welcomes fans to the Lyons Den, while reminding them of the Empire’s season two premiere date of September 23.
As you’ve probably already heard, everybody and their mama will be making appearances in the upcoming season, including Chris Rock, Lenny Kravitz, Brandy, Alicia Keys, and even Kelly Rowland who is set to play Lucious’ mother in flashbacks of his childhood.
Empire will premiere with a two-hour season opener and will again be blessed by Fox with limited commercial interruptions.
