There was a time when you were young and you had big dreams for your life. And as a youngster, when asked that famous question, “What do you want to be when you grow up?,” you probably replied with your eyes wide open and with the biggest grin on your face that you wanted to be a teacher, a doctor, or even a music artist. But for many, your answer to that question has long been buried away inside of you. For many, life has passed you by and you have lost focus on your aspirations and your dreams. As you continue your journey on this path we call life, you are encouraged to awaken those dreams that you have buried inside of you and you are encouraged to make your dreams come true.

This is a nice post brownsista.
Do I have the courage to follow my dreams? Its a struggle every day; that question alone is enough to give me determination, and I am hanging in there. Like my Momma always says it takes a lot of guts to be a success. There is no traffic on the extra mile.
Yes…I had a lot of help along the way. A lot of people reach out and helped me women/men to be this remarkable person that I’ve become. Like Black Sista said its a struggle every day however, I pray and keep pushing on. God is awesome! BE INSPIRED!!! One other thing..If you do not have the willpower go get you a Mentor. No matter what age get you a Mentor. When I was getting my MBA we had a 80year graduating. MENTORS…. THEY WORK!!!
GREAT POST!!!
“Every winter [is] a war…” – Sade, “Jezebel”
“This morning, I woke up; feeling brand new, I jumped up, feeling my highs and my lows and my woes [sic] deep down in my soul…” – Talib Kweli, “Get By”
I got news yesterday that in addition to the life changes I’ve already made in terms of ‘career’ or ‘profession’ or pursuing my dreams; I was reminded again that some things just HAVE to change or I may not be here to see ‘what dreams may come’.
So yeah, I’ve the courage though some days it’s hard, it’s frightening, it’s tiring.
Great post. More of these, please. This made me smile.
