Singer Erykah Badu has teamed up with cosmetics giant, Kiehl’s, to release a new earth friendly product. The “Limited Edition Superbly Restorative Argan Body Lotion” is bottled in 100% post-consumer recycled packaging and all sales of the product will benefit the Waterkeeper Alliance, an organization that helps protect community waterways from polluters. Enriched with argan oil, which is naturally rich in polly-unsaturated fats, the lotion is said to be great for anyone who suffers from Eczema. The lotion hit the market on April 20th, just in time for Earth Day, and retails for $55.00. Ouch! Earth friendly? Yes. Pocket friendly? No!
Definitely not pocket-friendly, but Kiehl’s does put out good product. Maybe someone will buy this for me. LOL But kudos to Erykah for this ‘partnership’. Love her.
:brownsista:
Someone will buy it. It is good that she is doing something about the Eco system. Good morning@ Kanyade
the way my daughter squeezes too much lotion, I would have to hurt her  The product must work really well. I wonder how many onces per bottle?
That is so cool and she is a super example of someone who is eco friendly,i love her she is crazy, authentic and super cool, dnt know how much she has or how many sales she has achieved just love her craft….taking a break as a musician is also eco friendly, not polluting the earth on travelling and stage lighting and fans…..everyone do your bit to support our mother earth on daily basis.
That is a really beautiful pic of her.
Nice :) I don’t know why Erykah hasn’t been tapped to endorse more products. She has an aura and style that is completely original and fierce. Many artists/celebs are just studio-made and manufactured. I could see her working with other natural lines..Aveda, Origins, etc. Lisa Price needs to get at her for Carol’s Daughter. That would be a great match
Erykah’ s body languages is so beautiful she is gorgeous but im sorry beside cocoa butter nothing touches my skin
@prettylady: :iagree: Everytime I seen ad for Carol’s Daughter, I always think of Erykah. She would be great addition to their promotions.
$55 is just ridiculous though. By pricing it so high they pretty much see to it that as few ppl as possible are able to buy it and thus support the charity the product was created for. I am always reading about how great Kiehl’s products are but all of them are just too darn expensive.
Damn, I love this woman. She’s a true artist in every sense of the world.
“word”. ah, what the hell – WORLD.
i’m willing to try anything that helps with Eczema or Dermititis.
I will try it. Maybe it’s magical for that price. lol
