Eryka is a great actress so I am sure this will be great. Maybe this will open the doors to other singers getting roles and they won’t all go to the same one.

She is a chameleon so I’m sure she’ll blow audiences away. I met her at a New Amerykah CD signing in Dallas and she was really nice. She told me I was ’soo beautiful” no lie. That’s a BIG compliment coming from her because she is ubber beautiful.

Erykah is really a good actress. She was wonderful in “The Cider House Rules” – good look. But I rather see more Black actresses getting roles.

Erykah (@ Grambling U.) & Mos Def (acting in shakespearean plays before he got big rapping) and even Tupac (attended same performing arts high school as Jada Pinkett-Smith) were TRAINED actors!

@Voices Eryka is an acquired taste. And everyone is not at that taste level. But she is the truth and her voice is amazing.
