Erykah Badu’s New Movie Role

The trailer for Erykah Badu’s latest film ‘They Die by Dawn’ has just been released. Erykah stars as a bounty hunter out to capture four outlaws, each with a price on their head. This modern western co-stars Isaiah Washington, Rosario Dawson, Giancarlo Espisito and Jesse Williams.

Unfortunately, because this is a short film and not feature length, it will not be released in theatres and has no official release date.

   I heard about this and saw the trailer on another site. I don’t get the point of this. Where the heck are we(people) gon’ go to watch it? I would love to see it. All the random people in this movie and the fact that it is an all black western is interesting to me. I guess the film makers have to deal with less people this way….making it a short movie but still tho.

   The only option I see is IFC or a straight to DVD/Netflix sort of thing.
