Esquire Crowns Halle Berry “Sexiest Woman Alive”

Alongside a photo spread that shows her in little more than a T-shirt, Halle Berry talks about being the sexiest woman alive, a title Esquire magazine gives her in its November issue. “I don’t know exactly what it means, but being 42 and having just had a baby, I think I’ll take it,” said Berry, who gave birth to her daughter, Nahla, in March. “Sexiness is a state of mind — a comfortable state of being,” she said. “It’s about loving yourself in your most unlovable moments. I share this title with every woman, because every woman is a nominee for it at any moment. So, thanks for the honor.”

I love Halle!! She is gorgeous. Her beauty is soooo consistent. She looks that good because everythng is natural and it pays off. Everyone has their own opinion about what’s sexy 2 them, but I will have to agree with Halle on this one. She still looks the same from when she first started acting, just with hair. Another thing I admire about her is that no matter how many times she has been on these lists, she is not arrogant or cocky. Even though lots of women envy her (lie all ya’ll want), she still seems like a humble person. Go Halle!!!!

- :hifive: Thank you Lingre! She seems to be the only celeb that remains on the humble over the years and if ppl take out time to read her acceptance speech {it’s rather funny}, she shares her title with every woman- I luv that!
I don’t think the title should be taken so seriously or for it’s exact words like some ppl have taken it. It’s kinda like when a mother thinks her baby is the most beautiful baby ever born…. of course that’s not true but that child is the only baby the mother knows so, the baby gets that title. As far as famous women go…. Halle smashes them all!!! But, I got friends and Brazil, Ethiopia and even Cali that can make Halle look worst than a plain Jane-
Okay okay! So not true, Halle is just too dope BUT they can give her a run for her money {imo}. My point is, don’t take the title so literally- just congratulate.

When it comes to something like this it`s subjective anyway. As previously stated, no matter who they choose or what list is compiled we all will not agree. That`s why it`s subjective as with anything. Speaking from a male perspective I do find her extremely sexy and stunning. In the past I`ve stated that she was the sexiest, but after careful thought I now have a different opinion. We can never really say who`s the sexiest. We can only say one of the sexiest, and even that is subjective. Halle is gorgeous and imo one of the sexiest among others.

With all due respect, I feel like some black women get a little too touchy when it comes to Halle Berry. Esquire names a “sexiest woman alive” every year..every year its someone new..last year it was Charlize Theron, one year it was Angelina Jolie the next it was Jessica Biel. If they can all get credit, then why can’t Halle? If they never had a black woman win the title for that magazine…then people would be complaining about that. Its ridiculous, people take these titles a little too seriously. Besides, if you’re a strait woman, why would you care how sexy (or un sexy) she is anyways? Men are not going to stop finding that woman attractive and sexy. It is what it is.
There are sexy women in all races, all shapes and sizes…and wether people like it or not, Halle is one of them. The woman just had a baby and her body looks better then it ever has before..I give credit where its due, she’s lovely and seems like a nice person..there are some women in there 20’s that don’t look that good. I feel like she is sexy without trying too hard, which is the best way to go. Very classy woman.

No, I kid you not. “Downtown” Julie Brown on her show Club MTV was a show that I watched religiously back in the day. The woman was absolutely scorching hot. Those were the days, those 80s. She got my motor racing for sure; a very beautiful and sexy woman in every sense of the word. Like previously stated, this sort of thing is very subjective. But for me she screams hotness.
