Eve Makes Her Daytime Divas Debut

‘Daytime Divas’ Welcome Eve to the Table

Rapper Eve shifts back into actress mode tonight thanks in part to her role on the VH1 hit series Daytime Divas. The former EVE star, who fronted her own show on the UPN from 2003-2006, will begin a multi-episodic arc playing Cecile James, a conivingly ambitious author who quickly finds herself butting heads with the catty ladies of a popular daytime talk show (The Lunch Hour) she’s agreed to appear on.

For those of you out of the loop, Daytime Divas is a comedic take on Star Jones’ bestseller Satan’s Sisters. It chronicles her time as co-host of the once popular morning chatfest The View. The series debuted on June 5th and co-stars Vanessa Williams, Tichina Arnold, Chloe Bridges and Camille Guaty.

Daytime Divas airs live Monday nights at 10/9c.
