M.A.C Cosmetics has announced that Debbie Harry, Dita Von Teese, Lisa Marie Presley, and Raptress Eve, will be their newest spokespeople for the M.A.C VIVA GLAM VI campaign. The new VIVA GLAM VI Lipstick and Lipglass, the primary funding source of the M.A.C AIDS Fund, will be available starting today at M.A.C locations worldwide. With every purchase of a M.A.C VIVA GLAM Lipstick or Lipglass being donated to the M.A.C AIDS Fund.Since the fund’s inception in 1994 the sales of five million lipsticks have raised over $70 million, positioning the M.A.C AIDS Fund as one of the most significant corporate supporters in the fight against HIV/AIDS. According to Funders Concerned About AIDS (2005 Report) the M.A.C AIDS Fund is the top corporate US grantmaker in the fight against HIV/AIDS behind four ofthe largest pharmaceutical companies. Mary modeled for Viva Glam too and I don’t think her tattoos bothered them too much.I don’t remember if they were seen in the ads though.Either way, MAC is supposed to be cutting edge so they probably don’t mind the tattoos.
