First Look: Janet Jackson’s Feedback Video
Singer Janet Jackson reportedly taped the video to her first single, Feedback, a few weeks ago and the dance diva gave Extra TV a behind the scenes look at the new project. Unfortunately, there wasn’t much to look at. No video footage was actually shown but a glimpse at the costume Janet wears as well as the concept were revealed. Janet is shown wearing a black costume reminiscent of the one she wore in Busta Rhymes’ “What’s It Gonna Be” video. Janet will apparently be ruling over her own little world in the video and her choreographer, Gil Duldulao has even created a dance called “The Feedback”.
No word yet when the video will debut but seeing as how her single is already moving up the charts and available on Itunes, I expect it to be soon.

It was such a quickie I started not to even post it. The thing on her head looks weird to me too but I am trying not to be too judgmental. I just hoped there is lots of dancing and not too much emphasis on special affects.

I too hope Janet dances like crazy in the video. I like Special Effects (and from the short clips it looks like there will be a few), but Janet is a dancer, darn near THE dancer, so I hope she really reminds people of that.

I was hoping for something more bright and colorful. I love Janet and love her dancing and think it is her strong point–but I don’t want to be sitting in my room straining to see the video like I was with “All Night” and “So Excited”. What good is it to be a fantastic dancer if nobody can ever see you dancing? I Wish she would hook up with whoever produces Missy Elliot’s videos or something. This has to be a really strong video if she wants to seal her “comeback”. I have my fingers crossed. This is from an admitted Janet “stan”.

Melissa,,,Did you read the orginal comment? The outfit is very close to an outfit she wore in a Busta Rhymes video “What’s it gonna be”. Which by the way is one of my favorite videos from her. At the time that video came out we had never seen her do anything that creative before. So as far as Ms Ciara goes,,,,she copied something that Janet created back in the early 90’s. I’m just saying,,Janet is a trend setter and so, so, so many of these young people are trying to dance and dress (including the hair) like Ms Jackson did many years ago.
Please check the history of Ms Jackson before you make comments.

I don’t think we can really tell what is going on yet … folks jump the gun to quick. It’s Janet, so I’m sure it’ll be better than half of the BS videos I’m seeing on TV nowadays (Beyonce shaking her *** and her blonde weave, Lil John’s stinking *** grill, and all those other mushmouthed negroes they show on BET trying to rap). I’m sure JSquared will bring it.

Why do people keep saying Janet Jackson is copying from Britney Spears, Ciara and all these other pop tarts. It is the other way around. Look at Janets history from the mid 80’s to late 90’s. These girls were inspired by her. Thanks to the super bowl incident, the industry is trying to erase her history in music and what she created. Pretty soon, Janet is going to have a huge come back, the media eating out of her hands and the last laugh.

Wow, such venom. Her last album did not reach the pinnacle of sales that we are used to, but the album did do ok.Ciara and Mya took her place is a stretch. These sistas have a long way to go in the game to reach the level of success and fortune that Ms. Jackson has. But the thing is, there is enough room at the table to enjoy all of these artists. Okay…have always loved janet and travelled far and wide to see her. Tired of defending her last CD’s though. I edited them..took out the oversexed slow tracks (yawn), took out the talk inbetween tracks and layed out the dance and mid tempo tracks in a coherent and flowing manner…converted quite a few people who said..what is this..I want this CD…sounds real good. So pleassssssssssssssssssssse lets all let janet know..keep it on the up vibe, dance flow….do not break the pace with silly talk, and leave the baby making songs for the b sides of the single releases…wishing Miss Janet the most sucessful of projects and a great 08. I agree with all who have stated that there is no reason to bring up the trainwreck Brittney, or Mya (what has she done lately???) or Ciara who needs to put on a few more clothes in her videos.
Each of these ladies can sing, but their names should never even be mentioned in a sentence with Ms J. If you combined their talents together, it still will not be enough to compete nor pass what Ms J has done. She has forgotten more than what they have done or is trying to do. I will say this, they took good notes from her savvy ways of dancing.

She is wearing all black and the (as someone called it) little thing on her head is called a special effect. I hope some of you know what that is, it’s when you are in front of a blue screen and something is going to be put in the place of that blue screen. However, you must wear black LOL JEEZ LOL. Judging a video from a screen shot from Janet is ridiculous in itself. Thats like seeing a screenshot from Whats it gonna be w/busta, got til it’s gone, or scream and trying to judge the whole video LOL All ended up being classics.
I think alot of people want Janet to be Beyonce and that crap isn’t happening. Artists like Janet & Madonna didn’t get to where they are by playing the safe card. If your looking for Janet to come out looking like she just stepped out a Loreal ad you are watching the wrong artist. :dance:

I like the song, but I think the video doesn’t go with the song. And that “milk” around?? what the jek is that !!? At the end of the video the milk drops shoot out like “torpedos of sperm” kind of weird thing for a song like that. Again, the song is great I like it…the video doesn’t go with the song. Please Jeanet, next time talk to your video director and find out what he is going to create for your video before you sign the contract.
