Fox Orders Additional Episodes of Rosewood

Fox Extends Rosewood’s Episode Order to 22

FOX ORDERS ADDITIONAL EPISODES OF ROSEWOODFox’s new hit drama Rosewood is sticking around for a while, or at least until the end of it’s season one 22-episode run.

Originally slated to air for thirteen episodes, Fox ordered an additional nine, citing the show’s solid performance in live and delayed viewing.

Rosewood stars Morris Chestnut, Gabrielle Dennis and Lorraine Toussant. It has also featured Nicole Ari Parker and Rasheeda in recurring roles.

Rosewood’s lead-in is Fox’s mega-hit Empire, which interestingly enough, has suffered a loss of over 4 million viewers since its season two premiere four weeks ago.

The show started off with 16 million viewers, and is now down to 12 million. Should the bleeding continue, and I personally think it will, I’ll be back next week with an update as to why I think fans have started tuning out, and what affect that may have on Rosewood’s future.

In the meantime, check out these stills and a promo video from next week’s episode titled Necrosis and New Beginnings.

  2. Love Rosewood. Enjoying the family dynamic. Lorraine Toussaint (sp?) is such a wonderful actress. I’m happy for the show doing so well.
