Just days after pleading guilty to attacking two police officers at Britain’s Heathrow Airport, model Naomi Campbell was seen doing what she does best- strutting her stuff on the catwalk. Naomi, who was the only female model used, took to the runway yesterday at the Dolce & Gabana menswear show wearing a black bra and boxer shorts, accompanied by a black and white Japanese print bath robe. Women have long enjoyed the comforts of their men’s boxers and now it seems D&G are actually targeting both men and women with their designs.

Oh, and here’s a thought my sister ran by me today. By now everyone is well aware that Tyra Banks has accused Naomi of making her early modeling career a living hell by having her booted from shoots and fashion shows she that she (Naomi) was also appearing in. Does anyone now sense any type of karma going on here? I mean look at it- Naomi has spent quite a bit of her time over the last few years in and out of courthouses while Tyra has been off conquering the world of television. And while Naomi was once again in court yesterday, Tyra was off winning the biggest award a talk show host can get- The Emmy. Karma or just bad luck… you guys make the call.
I am so glad someone has finally had the guts to say it. Yes Naomi is pretty and she is a Black model we should support her, but I support her as a model, not as damn egotistical freak who thinks she can just attack people whenever the feeling hits her.
Naomi has issues she needs to deal with or expect her to end up just like Foxy Brown. Both of these women are angry and live in a world where they think people should kiss their asses just because they have a little bit fame.
Well the same way it came back to bite Foxy in the ***, it will bite Naomi too. It ain’t over. Naomi will do this again and she will end up in jail. I put my money on it she will end up in an American jail too cause Americans aren’t going to take one more act of craziness on her part.
Karma is exactly why she is always in trouble and Tyra is always innovating and making the next move. God don’t like ugly and Naomi’s behavior is very ugly. As ugly today as it was years ago.
Ha, I love Naomi Campbell no matter what she does. I know she has a hell of an attitude, and a bad one at that at times, but I tend to brush it off as her being a super diva. The modeling industry is full of them anyway (so I believe) and people look to bring her down anyway. They have for years, but even with all her trouble making, she doesn’t hold her head down and I hope she never does. I hope, and no one knows how much, that she wears some awesome outfit during her community service again. I just get a kick out of that.
Looking at those pictures just made me throw my bag of candy away. I think I’ll tape a picture of Naomi on the treadmill next time I go to the gym.
Tyra had Naomi on her show and she denied all of it. IMO I think she did try to block Tyra from doing her thing. Overall Naomi is a Beautiful Model with a bad *** attitude. It’s Good seeing her without her wig pushed back lol.
I don’t know a thing about the legal system in England, but it seems to me that they’ve been very easy on Naomi so far. I guess they’re waiting to see if her behavior will improve. If it doesn’t, and she throws another of her 2-year-old tantrums, then they should put her in jail for about a month to see if that strightens her butt out. If it doesn’t, fine. Then the next time after that, put her in jail longer. “Railene” hit on a very good idea and I agree with her 100%… Naomi has to get out of her head the mentality that people are just things and objects that are there for her entertainment and amusement. I feel that some serious jail time will go a long way towards that.
I love LOVE Naomi! She has been in and out of court because she struggles with rage and self control….it has absolutely nothing to do with Tyra Banks. I don’t think putting her in jail will solve anything. She needs an attitude makeover. There are reasons why peeps attack when they feel a lil insulted/threatened. She needs to learn new patterns of behavior through therapy.
I cut her a lot of slack…something happens when a child suddenly turns into celebrity…most celebrities deal with reality by self medicating with drugs and alcohol. We all know she has gone down this road. Tyra is fortunate to have had her mom travel with her and support her. I love the example she set for young models and the way she continues to give tips through her Emmy winning show and ANTM. I do not condone Naomi’s behavior but I understand she has deep seated issues she needs to deal with.
btw I think she looks stunning as always…if can’t look like Naomi when I grow up then please let me look like Stacey Dash…sizzling bods!!!

I for one never understand why people always compare Naomi Campbell to Tyra Banks. They have different body shapes.
People will never compare Claudia Schiffer to Heidi Klum and they are both Germans. Naomi was in the original “Big Six” highly paid and sought after Supermodels, their bodies were in high demand for Haute Couture fashion shows. Also it’s the Designers who decide who will model their clothes as they have to look a certain way for specific high profile private clients.
Tyra Banks and Heidi Klum have the perfect bodies for men’s mag such as GQ and Sports Illustrated or lingerie like Victoria Secrets. (There were whispers in the industry that Tyra’s Hips were a little bigger for Haute Couture work)
There is room in the industry for more than one Black model in the game. The question is, why did we ever feel the need to compare them, especially when one had already established herself in the industry. Now you know there would never do that to Linda “We don’t wake up for less than $10,000 a day” Evangelistica. Why do that to Naomi??

I think Naomi is great. I think she is an ICON just like Iman and Beverly Johnson. She probably had to get an attitude to do what she has accomplished in this industry. I mean most women of color that are trendsetters have to indure so much pressure to be included in the same field as their caucasion sistas. I would hate to think what the first black models had to put up with to get where they are today. So IMO Ms. Namoi keep doing your thang sis!!!
I love Tyra and Naomi, but I do think they are different types of models. More power to both of them.
Hands down…Naomi is absolutely beautiful and if not the best, she is definitely one of the very best in the business of modeling and working the hell out of the catwalk. Due to her publicized troubles, it seems like a pattern of someone who is unhappy. I just pray that she will one day work on her issues and live a happy life.
I cant tell you how much I absolutely adore Namoi. She’s gorgeous, fabulous, fierce and has a bad attitude. I loved that for some reason. I appreciate Namoi more than I do Tyra and I’ve met Tyra.

No one can light a candle to Naomi on the catwalk. No one can walk like her, no one can be the diva that she is. I love this woman and I love seeing her in her element. She’s comfortable modeling and she exudes sexiness, confidence and in-your-face attitude.
Having said that, I totally believe she made modeling hell for Tyra. I’m a fan of both ladies. And while Tyra is doing her thing on TV and becoming more and more relevant not just to her generation but to the younger generation who will continue to pad her purse, Naomi’s time in the spotlight is coming to an end. I give Naomi an additional 10 years to be in front of the lens, then she will have to find something to fall back on. On the other hand, Tyra has only just begun and will have a staying power that is destined to last for a very long time.
Naomi did not make modelling hell for Tyra. She denied all those accusations and Tyra doesn’t have proof that it was down to Naomi! (its funny how no other model seems to back Tyra’s accusations)
Naomi has plenty of things to fall back on! She may not have a talk show but she is involved in so many projects that when she does decide to give up modelling, she will still be set for life.
